Dark Star

An existentialist bomb and an alien resembling nothing less than a dimly-glowing beachball with webbed feet? Ho, it doesn't get any better than that. :bloocross:

A pretty grim conclusion, objectively speaking, but it makes you cheer nonetheless.

Now there's a movie I haven't seen or thought about in ages. Good description there, based on what I remember. Not the best movie I've ever seen, but it did have a certain charm and understated wit to it. :)

Super Mario Bros.

I know everyone despises, hates, and loahtes the very core of this film but regardless of what anyone says, I freaking loved this movie. It's not a damn bit like the real Mario games but as a movie itself I really enjoyed it. Original ideas, cool effects, amazing actors (I LOVED Dennis Hopper as Koopa ).

And I've always loved Bob Hoskins. I think also alot of people don't appreciate just how much Mario Bros. hints and easter eggs are loaded into this movie, I've seriously never seen so many in jokes for one movie then this one.

I never played the game but I saw and liked the movie (possibly because I never played the game?) It surprises me to hear that a lot of people hated it. It was no cinematic masterpiece, not by any means, but I found it to be quite enjoyable.

Yeah I was just gonna say, Mario is a classic game. It's like the only game anyone can play and be good at and enjoy for hours on end.

The game is a MUST play, it's like the birth of video games for alot of people.

Hold on guys,

Mario Brothers is that pipe game,
it was followed next by Donkey Kong (with the big Ape)
at this point the two games forked,
Donkey Kong had its spin offs, and Mario Had his spin offs.

"Super Mario Brothers" it the classic that everyone played on NES.

Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest

Definately not as good as Black Pearl. But it's OK.
