metal gear solid 3: snake eater

my brother got it at a used video game store today, and it is awsome. before that it was assassain's creed: altair's chronicles on the DS, which only took a few hours to beat. fun game, but too many problems for my like. actually it was also my brothers, which he got from same store 2 days ago and traded in for MSG3. actually he traded in a gba version of doom he bought before for the DS game too.

O... MG. I love that game. It's one of the most addictive games I've ever played, and it's so simple. I can't stop playing. I've been humming the songs for days and when I close my eyes, I see circles. I'm at the very last with the Elite Beat Divas =D

Exactly! I can't stand Ashlee Simpson, but it's one of my favorite ones because it's fast-paced and fun. Plus it's kind of funny to see the proper-looking agents do such a girly dance 8D

I was iffy about it for a while because my (now ex) boyfriend told me he heard it wasn't good, but I know now that his taste is terrible. After not seeing the price go down at all at the store (meaning it has stayed a very popular/good game) and it winning best DS game in Nintendo Power, I went out at 4 AM and bought it lol. I think I've only put it down to sleep, eat, and work!

In anticipation of Megaman 9, I've been playing the heck outta the Megaman Anniversary Collection for Gamecube. Is there nothing better than blasting baddies with the good ol' mega-buster?:D

Devil may Cry 4, Wow what a cool game with a cool soundtrack.

sonic rush. done beat the game yesterday (even though i did use an action replay to get through two or three bosses and one special stage.) still dont get why i cant go super normally. such an obvious game flaw in pretty much alot of the newer sonic's. otherwise a great game.

GTA 3, which i am playing right now. Played GTA 4 and it made me want to go back.

Final Fantasy 4 (DS)

The fourth Final Fantasy was the singular game that got me hooked on the series and turned me into a dyed in the wool RPG fan.

And now it's back with a fresh coat of polygonal paint and some new play mechanics that keep this whirlwind tale of love, loss, betrayal, redemption and destiny fresh nearly 20 years after it's initial release.

i was playing some digimon world 3 earlier. great game in my opinion. although i seriously need to level up my guys. keep dyin. :l

Has anyone played alone in the dark 5 for either PC or 360, i ehard bad reviews but i really want to try it.

Yesterday I played Rock Band.
The game's getting kinda boring to me; either too hard to pass or too easy.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Played offline with my friend teaming up against the computer. He usually plays as Sonic or Samus (normal or Zero suit). I normally play as King Dedede, the Pokemon trainer, Bowser, Snake, or Meta Knight.

I played Sing Star (the 80s version) at my friend's party yesterday. Haha, yeah \m/ :P

I've settled back into Fire Emblem Sacred Stones. I just love the relaxed feeling of leveling up my units early on in the tower so I don't risk losing them on a tough mission.

Rock band. I was very surprised with how much fun I had playing this game. My fingers may not have the dexterity required for playing the guitar but it was really fun nonetheless.

Recently, I've been playing Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, a fan-made parody RPG. Basically, you play Charles Barkley and a group of others in a post-apocoloptyc(sp, don't really want to bother and go see how it's actually spelled right now) setting as you try to stop a terrorist organization that's destroyed Manhattan. It's very....irreverent, to say the least.

super mario bros deluxe. i suck against bowser. actually, i suck even more at just GETTING TO HIM.

MLB Power Pros 2008 (Wii)

Normally I find baseball to be one of the dullest sports in the world. (No offense to any baseball fans on the forums.) But this game with it's quirky charm, easy to learn controls and bevy of play modes and options actually makes "America's Favorite Past Time" fun.

stuck on 8-2. how'd i even get that far? i dunno, but i cant stand that guy in the cloud. ive died more times in the game by that guy than people have died in the history of the universe.

Try jumping on him when you get on top of the staircase. And once you get to the first minicannon of this stage, the cloud guy (Lakitu) will leave ya alone.

It's a free downloadable game, and it's CRAZY HARD.

Final Fantasy IV DS. While I'm among those that feel that square-enix has really become a shadow of its former self by constantly reselling and rehashing the same classics over and over again, I have to admit that this one is a winner.
It gives the classic game a 3D makeover that still retains a surprising faithfulness to Amano's art style. It also adds in some extra insight to the characters that really helps flesh them out. It works wonderfully and never feels forced. But the biggest surprise is the quality of the voice acting. It's very good because the voices suite the characters and the actors deliver their lines well. Often with more subtleness instead of over-the-top acting. But purists still have the option to remove the voice overs if they prefer. Well done SE! Now get started with a DS remake of Final Fantasy 5.:D

Gears of War

After not playing this game for almost a year, I decide to play the game once more, and made me realize why I like this game so much after a few hours (that, and I'm waiting patiently for Gears of War 2 when it comes out).

Eh, I don't like GOW online. No rank sucks, because I get paired up with people who've had it since day one & are a zillion times better than me. :(

MarioKart DS. I recently got rehooked on that game.

Yeah, it took me a couplethousand tries to beat the final boss in that game, too. Tough one, he is. I really hate bosses that are two guys at once, and you've got ONE life to try to kill them both.

(Which is why Nightmare in Dreamland is so hard. Three bosses in one...)

Paper Mario....the 1st Paper Mario.

I beat that game about two weeks ago. At first I only had two lives and got Game Over. After that I collected 35 lives by going into the same level over and over again (which requires a lot of patience). I lost all of those too and spent around three hours collecting 65 lives to finally beat him. Of course, I beat him without dying once that time. :bloocross:

(And this post isn't off-topic because that's the last game I played.)

"Sacred" for PC. I just bought it for under ten bucks brand new. I've been hungry for a Diablo game but since I haven't been able to track down the battle chest set anywhere, this was the next best thing.:D

I've been playing some "Spore" for the PC. Definitely a charming game. I've also managed to finally beat Mega Man 2 and 4!:D

i played a little pac-man earlier. im not very good at it, but i still love it. :D

before that was "the world ends with you." seriously save for that instance of pac-man, its all ive played since i got it.

Pokemon Yellow. I started a new game a few weeks ago. I love it. :D

I just played Tetris DS, a friend lent it to me. I got 86 lines, all the way to level 9. Harder than it sounds. They get REALLY fast.

finally beat it. took around 22 hours of playtime, or this last week. its become an addiction. but ive beaten it now, so i wont play it as much. probably.
