I took a lovely hike today, while we had some lovely weather. Burned some not so lovely calories. And had some pop corn and chocolate ice cream when I got back (oh, hello again calories!). I'd say I had a pretty good day. :)

Okay, LOL, the day will be over in about an hour where I live, but this totally made it. I love fyuvy.

Out of nowhere my parents gave me a hobby dremmel set that they got me for Christmas early! They just couldn't wait to give it to me so they gave it to me right away. Completely out of the blue but it made my day nonetheless.:D

I need a new Dremel. :( Mine died when I was making my Max plush. He ate its soul.

Max eats souls?

I beat Megaman 2, 3, and 5 today. This means that, in the last week, I have gone through Megamans 1-7. It's less repetitive than one would think, and really a lot of fun.

I got the best score in Rock Band I've gotten. It's in my sig, not much, but I've always wanted to get a gold star rating.

I did several hours of volunteer work today. And you know, it feels rewarding to accomplish something for others and hang out with friends.

^Yes it does. That's awesome Rid!

I had another grreeaat day. The weather was near perfect again. Drove down to Mt. Rainier and took another nice long hike, during which we saw what I believe was a Willow Ptarmigan (a cold-climate quail like bird), which I found exciting because I always love seeing new birds I've never seen before. We also saw a doe and her fawn, and a few more adult deer from a distance. I got a few nice pictures of the bird and a great one of the fawn, and some decent ones of the other deer. And on the drive down, also got some good shots of downtown Seattle, including more of the Space Needle. I love my new camera! ;)

That's good. You'll have to show us a picture of the birdy. I was watching House Sparrows doing little ariel acrobatics over the garden catching the flying ants that have been around the past few days. All the local cats were draped over stuff in the heat so the birds could sit unmolested on all the best vantage points for this annual feast.
