Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze

One of the greatest movie sequels I've ever seen. I loved seeing the turtles being more playful, and of course, TOKKA AND RAHZAR RULE!

The Gods must be Crazy

This begins as a sort of mockumentary about how the idyllic lifestyle of a tribe of bushmen came to be corrupted by the arrival of a Coca Cola bottle on their terrain (presumably a metaphor for corporate greed). Probably not the most-PC movie ever made, but I assume it's intended as a satire and I had fun in these early stages. Then we discover that the coke bottle story is actually just a subplot to another, somewhat less engaging storyline, over which someone in the editting room was clearly getting too carried away with their fast motion switches  . I did quite like the ending though.

I liked that one, but I would have to disagree on the mockumentary. I think it was done more on intent of a Socialogical commentary on the differences of culture and technology. however it has been many years since I saw it, and I distinctly remember disliking the sequal. but this I do not think was a satire but an actual Could happen senario due narated in a documentary style.

The Invisible

A pretty decent flick, not superb but a satisfactory movie. Not really a violent or a scary type movie but it had a good story and some interesting twists to the whole "afterlife" theory.

I'd give it like a 2 and a half stars.

Lady In The Water

I don't care what anyone says, this movie is great. Giamatti is fantastic as always, and the fairytale in the movie itself is very beautiful. If you were already set on hating it before going in, I recommend you don't see it. For those interested, or those die-hard Giamatti fans (you know who you are) pick this one up.

100 Rifles.

Best non-Eastwood non-Wayne Western ever. It has Raquel Welch. 'nuff said.

Full Metal Jacket

If I have to say anything about this movie to convince you to watch it, it isn't for you. Great stuff.
