I don't get it either, Cass. I think Ed is wonderful. I voted Wilt, but he's second to me.

Yup, I've been to those forums and have seen the "Ed bashing" there. I was thinking about joining the tv.com forums awhile back, but now that I've seen some of those ridiculous people on there I've decided otherwise. Personally, I don't really understand why people want to bash characters in the first place. If you don't like them then just don't pay attention to them! Geez! Yes, there are characters I've seen on shows that I don't like, either, but I certainly won't bash them because that's just not who I am.
Sure, Ed does cry a lot at times and he is rather cowardly sometimes as well, but that doesn't make him a loser. If these people could just try to look past his flaws they'd notice that he also has many good qualities as well such as the fact that he's very tender-hearted, gentle, cares about his friends and DOES go through a brave and courageous streak every once and awhile (see Eddie Monster). ;) That is why he is one of my favorite characters on Foster's, after all. :)
