Alien

Well, this film is a staple of classic horror/sci-fi, so it really needs no introduction. Ripley is a phenomenal heroine. Nonetheless, my favourite character has to be Jones the cat. 8-)

Poor John Hurt, though. I always have to avert my eyes during that particular scene... :wiltshock:

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Mennace
I still think AOTC is worse than this movie.

The Black Cauldron

I disagree on that Invader, "Clones" to me was infinitely better then "Phantom". Anywho. I finally got to see this rare disney film and I gotta say, it was VERY cool. Excellent animation, music, character designs.

A tad short but still an amazing Disney flick, one I'm glad I finally got the chance to see.

The Golden Child - on DVD with Eddie Murphy.

The Great Mouse Detective

Another forgotten Disney classic, and a magnificent one at that. Vincent Price is amazing in this movie. "Detective" is so under appreciated.

Read It And Weep

The newest Disney Channel original movie - well over here at least. It was unbelievably corny, but was still cute and had great music.

The 300

Great gobs of gore, this movie was very good. Messy but at the same time not dry or hollow like most "medevial" movies like Gladiator or Troy.

The movie looks like a living breathing comic book, excellent film all around. But be warned there's lots of half naked man and gallons of gore in it 8D.

The 300

While not the most accurate Thermopylae, but a great movie. Mr. M basically summed it up nicely.

The Fifth Element. I keep forgetting what an awesome movie that is. I watched it on TNT so a lot of the little touches that I liked in the full version are lost. Such as Zorg saying his full name, or the ticked off cop at the McDonald's, or Korben's next door neighbor. It just gets better with age it seems. Too bad the sequel, Mr. Shadow, was never made.

Yeah I watched it today too, and noticed all those little great moments were yanked too.
