I played Sam & Max Hit the Road the original S&M game from 1993 last night. Normally this game is alot of fun but with me being sleepy, forgetting to take my anti-anxiety med and my cat .not.shutting.up. it was a bit stressful x_x
I really loved the part where I was at the end of the game and tried to get back behind the totem poles to the hot tub but just could not find the hotspot to get Sam to walk there. Then after 4 mins of trying I finally get him there and notice I forgot to pick up an item I needed and had to go back... and get it... and then try to get back to the hot tub... Ugh. I also noticed I like the new voices of Sam and Max much better XD |
i reciently bought drawn to life for the DS and it is very addicting. although i sucked at my attempt to draw a character, so i just recolored one of the originals. also, i loled when i saw santa as a choice for your hero.
again, pretty addicting. |
Halo 3!!!
|
Super Smash Bros BRAWL!
|
Dragon Warrior/Quest II on the DQ I&II remake for the GBC.
|
sonic 3 and knuckles
i finally beat it after about four days. i gotta say its one of those few times i can think of where ive beaten a game (the only other ones that come to mind are the pokemon games) i have all the super emeralds too, which is awsome. and i gotta say that final battle was HARD. took me about an hour to beat. oh yeah, and its also got some cool |
Sim City 4
One of the few sandbox games I do enjoy, the others being GTA: Vice City and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 |
Mischief Makers!!
I love love love that game... if you can't tell by my sig 8D. The first time I played it was a way long time ago... I'd say maybe 6-7 years? Anyhow, I found it a few years later and bought it, and then I lost it for a while. I finally found it last night and haven't put the controller down for very long lol. That game is so addicting! |
Sonic Rush. I bought this at EBgames a few weeks ago because I had such a craving for a more traditional 2-D Sonic game. Definitely worth the $14.00 I paid for it. And I also have to say that Blaze the Cat is easily my favorite Sonic character in ages.:D
|
Vampire Rain on Xbox 360. This is one of those games that was given poor reviews by the press (Seriously, 2.9/10??), but it turned out to be a pretty good game.

It take's a little getting used to but after a day or so you get the hang of it.:D
|
The last game I played was Condemned 2: Bloodshot.
Good gameplay, great plot and unexpected scary movements are enough to sum up this game. |
yeah bloodshot was good.
Im also playing GTA4 on the 360. Awesome game i recommend it!! |
Nights: Journey into Dreams, followed by Paper Mario (The original)
Since I never owned a Saturn, Journey into Dreams is my first experience with Sonic Team's....other well recieved franchise. And in my opinion the game was pretty good but kind of repetitive IMHO (I actually groned when I had to do another one of those annoying "chase the birds" missions.) but the chraming characters, stirring musical score and innovative boss battles, helped to make up for that minor shortcoming. Paper Mario was one of those games I have always wanted to try but never really got around to it, by the time game out I already moved up from an N64 to a PS2 so I missed out on it. Now thanks to the power of the virtual consol I have a chance to correct that slight oversight and give this game the attention it deserves, and I must say I am pretty satisfied with the game thus far. (I am only at chapter 3) Now if Nintendo and Square-Enix can get the original Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars on the VC, then I will truly be a happy happy man. |
Pokemon Snap, I forgot how horrible the camera controls are... Which is a shame since the camera is the most important thing in this game XD

uh, the last game i played was sonic heroes on the ps2. admittedly, it isnt very good in some parts, and chaotix is missing mighty (one of my least favorite parts of it.) and like most games made, i suck at it. :P but its still one of my favorites that isnt on the genesis. |

Smash Bros Brawl at a friend's house, though I sucked because I'm not used to the Wii controls. It was pretty fun.
|
sonic heroes again.
omg rail canyon. WHY? |
Super Metroid. Just finished it, and it still has one of the greatest end-game moments ever.
|
Halo 3.
Damn I wish I had GTA 4. :( |
Fatal Fury 3
Man, old school is awesome. |
sonic 3 and knuckles. pretty fun. one of my favorite sonic games.

No More Heroes followed by Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law both for the Wii.
NMH is very fun little game from underground Japanese sensation SUDA 51 in which you play as Travis Touchdown an otaku who has just gained ownership of a lightsaber styled sword and is using said sword to become the number one assassin of all time, by knocking of all of the other assassins on the top ten list. It's a really fun open world game in the vane of GTA or Shenmu, in which when you are not fighting you can do other stuff such as odd jobs (Like mowing lawns or collecting coconuts or play with your kitten. Next up was Harvey Birdman which is a graphic adventure that plays a lot like Phoenix Wright (which makes sense since both games are made by CAPCOM) if you love the show, then you'll love this game. |
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time. Easily one of greatest and funnest beat 'em ups ever made. I had a blast playing this game again, it was a fun nostalgia trip that really put a smile on my face and made me chuckle about how the most absurd things could become so cool and hip. Only in the 80's!8D

Activision anthology on GBA; it's one of the last GBA games for which I have some determination left to unlock "prizes", in this case, pics of the clothing patches Activision used to hand out for breaking some preset score barrier. I was born a few years after the Atari 2600 heyday, so I missed out on these classics. Plus, it's a great game to blow away the 20-30 minutes I spend on subway rides.
In case anyone is familiar with the Activision 2600 titles, my favorites in this collection are Beamrider, Seaquest, Ice Hockey, Enduro, and Starmaster. I despise Kaboom for its difficulty due to poor controls in this port. |
"Dragon Quest Swords" for the Wii. A much better game than I expected, and loaded with retro character designs and sound effects from the first game in the series.:D
|
im not sure, i havent played anything in a few days. it was either armored core 2 or guitar hero 3.
wait, yeah, guitar hero 3. its a pretty awsome game. armored core 2 is also awsome, but only if you have the good weapons. |
Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
Picked this up a couple weeks ago, but never got around to really sitting down playing it until today. What else can say other then it's a Mario game so it has to be good. (Okay there are some exceptions, but for the most part games featuring everyone's favorite plumber are very good.) The graphics are very bright and expressive and the soundtrack is kind of departure of the typical Mario game, the more bouncy cartoony tracks have been replaced with more epic sounding tunes. (Most likely to fit in with whole "space" theme. All in All, I like what I've played thus far. |
I love the music in Mario Galaxy! I hope Nintendo makes a habit of using a full orchestra for its games soundtracks. The lack of orchestral music was one of the few disappointments for me about Twilight Princess.

I just finished beating Earthbound/Mother 2, and have begun playing Mother 3. While I haven't gotten very fair (only about 15 minutes in), it still looks like a delightful game, as all the other games in the series have been. It's a shame it'll never see an English translation. Well, at least not an official one. ::)

I recently discovered how freaking addictive Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training is. It can be frustrating, but it's a load of fun too. Great way to keep yourself in check.:) Ditto for Animal Crossing, too.
