Y'know something? I feel like contributing to our favoriate redhead's cloest. Just be forewarned-- I'm bad at drawing, so please don't kill me if a messed up. (Comments in parentheses.)

Frankie in a Kimono (Inspired by Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Goldman)

Frankie as... (Not exactly something Frankie would wear in an everyday situation, but it was too tempting to pass up!)

Frankie as Rosemary Clooney in White Christmas (Loved the dress, had to draw her in it. 'Nuff said.)

Salsa Dancer Frankie (Been on my mind for a while. Yes, I know I screwed her thigh up and that the skirt is kinda short-- both total mistakes; refer to artist comments.)

So... there we are. I'd post images, but I'm a combo of busy and too lazy to post everything to Photobucket first. :weirded:

Lynnie 08-08-2008 07:22 PM

I love those, WiltsAK! Especially the one from White Christmas, as I adore that movie too. You did a great job on all of them. The Salsa one makes me want to put on my own Salsa skirt and do some Salsa. It's been years since I've done it. It's fun, I kind of miss it.

Loved the mini-fashion show - these dresses are cute. I too like the salsa dress.

Medikor 08-12-2008 08:20 AM

The Christmas dress is great and really seems to suit Frankie. I also really like the kimono. :D

Wow, once again I've been away too long. The game has problems as you may have read about in the Foster's Valley thread but Body Shop works just fine, and about an hour ago I used it, along with ScreenHunter, Paint, and a third-party program called the Body Shop Utility, to produce what you see below:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...90125/FFBB.jpg

This one works for all seasons, I think; warm enough for all but the dead of winter, yet light and airy for spring, fall, and much of summer as well. Not too good for working around the House but ideal for a casual afternoon in the Valley or an evening in Downtown. Sophisticated without being overly dramatic, this is a recent aquisition from TSR. I don't recall where I got the background from but it works very well. Thought I'd pass the finished pic along to you guys and as always, comments and critiques are welcome.

Very nice to see the fashion show back up again. Looks like our beloved redhead's clothes collection is increasing. I love the way the outfit is practical for any season/occasion. My GF would definitely want one of these.

Lynnie 09-01-2008 07:39 PM

Nice! I myself could totally wear that. Especially given I tend to be a fan of capris. It almost looks like a tube top she's wearing under the wrap sweater. Looks quite stylish. I don't have any critique I don't think this time. I even like the shoes.

I think this looks great on her! I love the background too, she looks like she's exuberant over something.

So you have wished it, so shall it be!

Nicely done, dude!

Cassini90125 12-30-2008 04:51 PM

Way, way too long since I've posted anything here. Time to fire up Paint and Body Shop and present to you the "Elven Princess" outfit:

Provocative yet tasteful, alluring and enchanting... at least I certainly think so. This one's for that special night at the Emmy Awards ceremony where, with a little luck, the Foster's crew will bring home a statue honoring Destination Imagination, an honor well-deserved for an extraordinary movie and long overdue for an extraordinary show.

Outfit is from MTS2; background image of the Rosette Nebula courtesy of NASA. Comments welcomed as always.

frankie_fan 12-30-2008 05:33 PM

Wow! That's definately an awards night outfit! Nice! :-*

Lynnie 12-30-2008 07:37 PM

Very elegant, I like it. A little too skimpy on top for my personal taste, I'd like some fluttery sleeves, or at least "wings" that hang off the back of the shoulder. But that's just the style I like. It does look great on her. Best wishes for bringing home an Emmy, Frankie!

TheVoid 12-31-2008 01:21 PM

Well, that looks like it's from the sims. Anyways, good pictures. And remember this. IM TEH ALPHAMALE!!!!

Lol, wow.

Lynnie 12-31-2008 07:54 PM

Alrighty then. :P

Uhm, I realized that there may be only a handful of people here who knew what I was referring to when I said "wings" in my above post. Hehe, I wasn't referring to costume wings, whether it be fairy, pixie or angel. I was referring more to a strip of fabric sewn to the shoulder, that resembles a cross between a sleeve that hasn't been seamed closed and a split cape. One example that I can find-

It's a very elegant look.

Just a little something I wanted to share:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFPL02.jpg

Teen Frankie, out for a walk in East Veronaville. She wandered by the lot I was playing at the time and of course I had to stop and get a pic or two. Look at the expression on her face; you can almost hear her saying, "Another pic, Cass? Don't you have anything better to do with your time?" Not as long as I don't have to pay for film. 8D

I don't have any new and/or interesting outfits to show you all at present; I though this pic was cute though, so I decided to pass it along. Enjoy.

That expression's making me laugh! 8D

Lynnie 04-21-2009 10:08 PM

Yay, I haven't seen a Sim pic in a while, thank you for sharing it, Cass. Hehe, yeah, she looks like she's pouting. 8D

Cassini90125 04-23-2009 07:55 PM

A couple more that you all might enjoy:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...5/FFC9RRH1.jpg

The pic above was taken at a community lot of my own design which I shamelessly named "Mr. Cassini's Rest And Relaxation Place", a charming establishment that plays more smoothly than any other community lot in Veronaville and has more entertainment value for both Sims and Simmaster than all the other community lots combined. I'm very pleased with how well it's working. Anyway, as often happens, I was playing another Sim at the time and Frankie just happened to show up. I hit the Pause button and grabbed a pic. I also got a close-up:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...5/FFC9RRH2.jpg

Wow. She has the most beautiful eyes... you can really see the warmth in them. Quite a lady at any age.

Shortly after I took these pics, a rude girl by the name of Ariel grabbed her and gave her a noogie. Frankie was not amused. :frankiemad: 8D

That close-up pic is gorgeous.

Great pics.

She does look a bit annoyed, doesn't she? 8D

Maybe she was giving her a head massage.

Ariel does things like that constantly; I think she gets bored easily. Funny as hell when it happened, I'll say that, and Frankie's "WTF is your problem?!?!" expression afterward was priceless. 8D :frankiemad:

That it is. She's remarkably photogenic.

I was poking around on the Exchange the other day and found another "must have this!" dress. I had a different Sim in mind for it but as usual I tried it out on Frankie anyway. I thought it looked great on her, something for a warm night out in the tropics perhaps. By chance I was looking through some other pics and found a background image that I thought would work well with both Frankie and the dress, so after a little fiddling with Body Shop and Paint, this is what I came up with:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...i90125/FFG.jpg

Really blew me away. The colors, the pose, everything. I'm seriously thinking about having this one printed and framed.

frankie_fan 04-28-2009 09:44 PM

Whoa! Blew me away too. Gorgeous dress! I'm suddenly reminded of the music video for Waiting for Tonight by Jennifer Lopez

Cassini90125 08-16-2009 06:20 PM

The shape of things to come?

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0125/S3FFO.jpg

This is Frankie's everyday outfit, recreated by me with the Sims 3 game. The Sim is not Frankie Foster; her name is Celeste Montero. A copy of her might be the Sim who eventually gets modified to become the Sims 3 Frankie, however. It's way too early to say. I did complete the outfit though, and I thought you guys might be interested in seeing it, so I thought I'd pass it along. Hope you like it.

Howard 08-16-2009 06:29 PM

Nice. Of course you showed me the hairdo on this sim in San Dog. I know it is still a matter of tweeking here and there.
