It is actually harder to control him. With Six Axis. It is a little too sensitive to your movements. But fun none the less.

The camera sucks for him, it reverts back to behind him when you're not holding it.
I played MUA & original Sonic today.

Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots (Nintendo DS)

Now now, I know what you are all think has the big T finally flipped his lid? Well yes I have, but that is beside the point.

But there are three good reasons why I chose to pick and play a game such as this...

Reason the first, it was cheap.

Reason the second, it's a side scrolling beat em up remeniscent of such classics as Final Fight, Teenaged Mutant Ninja Tutles and Double Dragon.
And that particular genre was always a sentmental favorite of mine.

And Lastly

Reason the Third, Invader Zim is a playable character.

So there you have it, mock me if you will, but tonight I've learned that sometimes a good game can come from the most unexpected source.

I was looking for that game today to rent, didn't see a copy. I was looking for the PS2 version though, it has GIR instead of ZIM =/

Apprentley GIR is an unlockable character in the DS version, if one takes the time to find and collect all of the "Super Smash Bros: Melee" styled trophies hidden through out the game.

I at the time of this posting haven't confirmed that this is true or not, and it could be bunk as I did get that info off of GameFAQ's. But you never know

some guy you dont know 01-13-2008 03:20 PM

Sam & Max Season 2 (202): Moai Better Blues

It was awesome, pretty short but very funny! It brought out alot of new questions that will be answered in latter episodes though. I knew Stinky was fishy right from 201 >>

CrazyPhil 01-16-2008 06:44 PM

Last game I played was Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on Xbox 360. By far one of the best shooters I've ever played, period.

Medikor 01-17-2008 02:41 PM

Super Smash Bros Melee. I've been so hyped for SSBB that I decided to play some Melee to pass the time. To my utter horror and dismay, all the screen said was "Game file corrupted". I couldn't believe it... all that work, hours, sweat, tears, and sheer fun put into that game ever since it was released, al gone.
Needless to say, I've been trying to get all the hidden stuff back. Primarily the hidden stages and characters. You never know when someone will wanna have a match. Little is more embarrassing than a character select screen completely devoid of roughly 12 characters that make up the complete roster.

Ugh, the same thing happened to me a long time ago, only my actual memory card got corrupted, so I lost all the data for EVERY gamecube game I had played. I had no idea why it happened, but I had to restart every one of my games from the beginning again. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed and couldn't even look at my games for a week. I still haven't gotten all the data back even today. (And I had practically everything unlocked in SSBM too, except for a few stages.)

Ridureyu 01-18-2008 11:37 AM

I played Contra 4 again.

EXPLOSIONS

Invader Bloo 01-20-2008 12:43 PM

Halo 3 Multiplayer
Man it is ADDICTING! I could probably waste a month playing it if I didn't have self-control.

kingdom hearts: chain of memories.

playing through the riku story, pretty fun game. the first set of worlds were extremely easy, though.

yeah the GBA one. although there is a PS2 version with final mix+.

played some sonic 2, always an enjoyable game.

Mayor Adam West 01-26-2008 03:43 PM

A few actually:

Crash of the Titans
Test Drive Unlimited
Pac-Man
Space Giraffe

Subzeroace 02-04-2008 03:26 PM

Nicktoon's Attack of the Toybots for PS2

This game is fun once you get your timing perfect. I wouldn't recommend it for a kid though, it's WAY too hard.

It wins awesome for letting you play as so many characters and alt-costumes for them.

You can play as:

SpongeBob, Patrick (Spongebob Squarepants... duh)
Danny Phantom, Sam Manson (Danny Phantom)
Timmy Turner (Fairly Odd Parents)
Jimmy Neutron (...<)
Tak (The Tak games/cartoon)
Stimpy (Ren & Stimpy)
GIR (Invader ZIM)
Rocko (Rocko's Modern Life)
Jenny/XJ9 (My Life as a Teenaged Robot)

I'm still missing Jenny, so I'll have to go and get her ^^

Final Fantasy VI Advanced

Best game in the Final Fantasy series, in my opinion.

Man I loved that game! Way back when I had a Genesis I was always playing Sonic 2 when I wasn't dragon punching all challengers in Super Street Fighter II.

I just got done playing Fatal Frame 2/watching Fatal Frame 2 being played. It's not bad, though I prefer watching over playing. I know, I'm weird, but when I am playing, I don't get to really experience it enough because I'm focused on fighting/photographing things. When I watch, it's like watching a horror movie!

Nathander 02-19-2008 03:40 PM

Earthbound Zero for the NES. Called Mother in Japan, its first sequel is the only one that would make it to American shores, known here as Earthbound.

Medikor 02-19-2008 04:00 PM

Donkey Kong Country 3. I loved this game as a kid, along with the other two DKC games in the series. The virtual console is truly letting me re-live some of the classics that I just couldn't get into my possession as a kid.

some guy you dont know 02-19-2008 05:22 PM

i played some digimon world 3 last night, and i think i spent my $20... well i could have spent it on something better, but it was still a pretty good buy. and a fun game too :D

BluebottleFlyer 02-21-2008 05:13 AM

Took a bit of a retro trip last night, had a race on "TOCA 2 Touring Cars" on the PS1. I remembered just how hard it is to get the cars around a corner without spinning off into the gravel, too. And note to self: don't drive the Peugeot.

Medikor 02-21-2008 11:56 AM

Played some more DKC3 and planning to get back to Mario Galaxy. Man the music in that game is fantastic!:D

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney

As long as Capcom keeps cranking out the Ace Attorney titles I will keep buying them.

Medikor 02-27-2008 01:47 PM

I've still been playing Smash Bros. Melee on and off to stay sharp for Brawls release. I've actually been having a lot of fun experimenting with characters I used to be terrible with and finding out that they're actually some of my best. I never imagined that I could hold my own with Ice Climbers!8D

some guy you dont know 02-27-2008 06:17 PM

ive seriously got to get a gamecube and melee.

i reciently played sonic 3 and knuckles. I think i said this before, but i suck as knuckles. Cant get past marble garden act 2...

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

This was my first time playing the game today: It's rather inclusive, but fun and captivating. It looked pretty nice, the controls were okay (I was using a Nintendo Gamecube controller, which I never quite got the feel for) and the plot seemed solid.

I like it, but then I honestly like most things, so I want the general opinion around here: Is this a good game or not? Feel free to pass this up if you haven't played it/don't feel like it, but I'd like to know.

some guy you dont know 03-01-2008 09:20 PM

god of war II

really brings out my demonic evil demon side. like i find it fun to kill every monster in the most gruesome ways, but then again if i didnt that'd get rid of half the fun of fighting them in the first place.

also before that it was pheonix wright. just about to get busy on the case then my DS started to die. :l

It's a great game to be sure. I've been meaning to go back and finish it. The only part that was iffy to me was the little chore of having to hunt for these little ghost-like insects when you reach a few new area, or something along those lines. It was a little slow for my tastes when I was already playing another game at the time.
I've watched my brother go through the game and I have to say that it really picks up before too long. You won't be disappointed if you stick it out and see it to the end. If you're a fan of the series than Twilight Princess is definitely not one to pass up.:D

Medikor 03-07-2008 12:30 PM

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. The Gamecube remake of the Playstation classic. It's a great, great game but some of the alternate music and the over the top Matrix-style cut-scenes really kill the epic feel of the boss and enemy encounters, and just seems really out of place to me.

Same here and a HELL YES! This game is amazing, the graphics are incredible and the insane new items, super smash attacks, and new characters, loads and LOADS of fun. My favorite part though is definitely the new story mode movies.

The cut scenes are freaking excellent, beautifully rendered and with the Smash Bros. characters actually interacting with each other like a real storyline! It's like a Fan Fic author's dream 8D.

Tell me about it! The team ups and interaction between characters that are franchises apart came off very natural and just felt "right" the whole way through and not a single character felt out of place. And while it's oh so obvious, I must say that Captain Falcon is the freakin MAN!8D

Diamond Duchess 03-13-2008 04:37 PM

Golden Sun

I don't fully understand the backstory or how it works exactly, but I do think it's fun to play and I like wandering around in the different realms.

This'll probably be something I'd dabble in when I've got some time to kill, something to mess around with. That's all.

Partymember 03-13-2008 05:16 PM

yes Golden Sun is quite enjoyable.

I last played Age of Empires 3, which is a time killer if nothing else.
