taranchula 11-17-2006 07:06 PM

I just got back from "Casino Royale".

GrimTheLost 11-19-2006 06:05 PM

"Happy Feet", I have never laughed as much for a child's film than with this. I loved it so much.

SkittleMonkey 11-19-2006 06:11 PM

I just saw Happy Feet and Flushed Away at the local drive-in last night. It was pretty awesome.

Howard 11-19-2006 07:33 PM

"A Few Good Men" I have not seen that in awhile!

That made me jump for a moment.

I saw Over the Hedge.

Happy Feet.

WHAT CAN BE BETTER THAN TAP DANCING PENGUINS?!?!?

And, being a tap dancer, I must say that the dancing was SUPERB. The baby Mumble did WINGS. A lot of ADULTS can't do wings. I can hardly do them...

Great movie... And Nicole Kidman sung! Yay! Moulin Rouge fans will be happy.

Also, did you guys hear that Happy Feet actually beat out Casino Royale in the box office this weekend?

I was shocked!

-Marty :goo:

SkittleMonkey 11-20-2006 04:59 PM

I wasn't all that shocked. I thought the entire movie would just be humour, but honestly, I think it was just an all around good movie. Hardly even paid attention to the humourous bits!

Nathander 11-20-2006 07:19 PM

Borat last Saturday. Hilarious movie, though definantily not for everyone.

Voxxyn 11-20-2006 08:34 PM

I just got back from Casino Royale.

I'm not so sure if I agree with the insane amount of acclaim it's gotten(95% on RottenTomatoes :o ), but I thought it was a very good action flick. I liked that this one was more about the characters and story than CGI and gadgetry stuff, and that Daniel Craig's portrayal of Bond was far more human and vulnerable than he usually is.

Mr. Marshmallow 11-20-2006 09:24 PM

"The Grave Dancers" and "Unrest"

Both in theaters and both were apart of this special horror movie festival called "After Dark horror fest". I also saw Casino Royal prior to these and admittingly not being a Bond fan, that movie kicked ass!

Cassini90125 11-21-2006 12:50 AM

"Deep Impact" on DVD. I don't think this movie gets much credit, which is too bad, as it's very good.

Carlaz 11-21-2006 06:58 AM

"The Polar Express"

GrimTheLost 11-21-2006 03:26 PM

"Latter Days".

SkittleMonkey 11-22-2006 08:46 AM

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. On dvd, of course.

scary_dream 11-22-2006 10:28 AM

American History X

Love that movie.

Scarface - Al Pacino is my boy!

Cassini90125 11-22-2006 11:09 AM

"Supervolcano" on DVD.

Carlaz 11-22-2006 11:14 AM

"Charade" DVD

taranchula 11-22-2006 12:24 PM

Transformers: The Movie.

donna323 11-22-2006 05:58 PM

Let's see ...

In the movies, we've recently seen "Flushed Away", "The Departed", and really want to see the new "Charlotte's Web". Just haven't got there yet.

On DVD, I just watched "The DaVinci Code", which I thought was okay. Kinda long, but I really dig the whole Goddess thing. Also saw "Cars", which was marginal at best.

On Pay-Per-View, I've recently watched "Aeon Flux", which I thought was cool, and "Damien 2006", which was a dork-fest.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! May the Macy's Day Parade Ride ON!

CandlelightChaos28 11-23-2006 05:32 AM

The last movie I watched was "Flushed Away."

Nathander 11-23-2006 09:28 AM

Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny just last night.

GrimTheLost 11-23-2006 12:22 PM

DaVinci Code.

Yeah CN called it a "Movie" so I think it should count.

So in that case, "Good Wilt Hunting" was the last movie that I saw.

GrimTheLost 11-25-2006 01:19 AM

Mr. Marshmallow 11-26-2006 01:28 PM

"Spider Man 2"

"Good Wilt Hunting"

Both on TV.

BabyElephant 11-26-2006 02:59 PM

I didn't exactly watch it, it was more just on in the background...but "Save The Last Dance" was on last night. Kind of like "Eight Mile" done for teenage girls. :D

Mac 11-26-2006 07:40 PM

Ice age: The Meltdown.

Eddie and Crash. Two best characters. Ever.

One Radical Dude 11-26-2006 08:23 PM
