great work bro :)

Ridureyu 02-25-2008 02:33 PM

While we're on this subject, Frankie needs to cosplay as Chun-Li. It's like a rite of passage, or something.

Cassini90125 03-07-2008 04:14 PM

Shades of red and pink and black

I have no idea who Chun-Li is but I'll be happy to look for her outfit if you wish. No guarantees of success, though. ;)

Just for the record everyone, I'm sorry that all of the recent photos have been from the CAS and Body Shop programs instead of in the House or around town. For some unfathomable reason the game has been crashing when my Sims try to buy new clothes; it's quite annoying, as you might expect, but as yet I haven't been able to do much about it. Needless to say, I'm working on it.

In the meantime, I ran CAS the other day, mostly to review what I had and what I was willing to part with. I should do the same with my own closet someday. 8D When I finished I decided to have a little fun. I've always liked these outfits but I've never used them in the game. Anyway, Frankie graciously agreed to model them for us, and here they are:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0125/FFRPC.jpg

The first is called "Red Goth"; normally this one is only available for teens but someone at MTS2 fixed that. The remaining three are from TSR. They all look great on her; I'd have a very hard time picking a favorite but if I had to I suppose it would likely be the fourth one, which works for many occasions from semi-formal events to a trip to the market. #2 is great for casual affairs and everyday use, particularly in cooler weather, while #3 is certainly for warmer days and nights at the higher-class clubs and restaurants. #1 is punk, pure and simple, and all about a semi-rowdy night on the town. Don't mess with a woman wearing a spiked collar!

So, yeah, that's the latest collection. Comments and critiques are appreciated, as always.

Lynnie 03-07-2008 05:40 PM

I like all four of these, especially the last two, although that's only MPO since they're most "me" of the four. :berry: The second one is very creative, I like the red/black plaid patch on her jeans. It looks very "punk rock" to me. Yup, that's our Frankie. I like the lace cardigan on the third. I personally would prefer strait sleeves rather than puffed, but it still looks nice over that dress-- top?-- dress? Looks like a top and skirt. Either way, it looks nice. And yeah, that fourth one is very classy and go-anywhere. I have a number like it myself. I even like the colors.

Partymember 03-08-2008 02:04 PM

#2 looks like she could beat me up 8D

cool stuff, Cass :)

xxxClaire 03-10-2008 08:02 PM

I like these! I like the first one a lot. I like the second one too, but I didn't really like the boots at first... I think high heeled, pointed toe boots would of looked better, but that's just my opinion. I like the 3rd one a lot. The sparkly skirt is cool! And, I like the bottom half of the 4th one. The shirt doesn't really match the rest of the outfit. The jacket's okay, but it's not my favourite. Again, that's just my opinion. But I love the skirt and shoes!
I don't really have a favourite... They all look great on her.

Howard 03-11-2008 11:22 AM

YOWZA!:o

Frankie looks HAWT in all of these outfits!

Dragonrider1227 03-18-2008 08:59 AM

This one really blew me away when I found it; naturally, I couldn't wait to try it out on her. I think it's almost as spectacular as the lady wearing it.

Hey, Cass. I just looked at that image of yours (again!) and I just wanted to ask if I can use that for a reference. I've got the urge to draw Frankie in that outfit now. 8D I hope it's okay with you.

Oh, it's more than okay, dude. If it's any help, CAS models can be rotated so if you want or need to see the outfit from the sides or back, by all means let me know.

Looking forward to the pic!

frankie_fan 04-04-2008 08:55 PM

Well, wait no more.

It's not exactly the greatest drawing of Frankie in the world, but at least I had a go. I drew this in Photoshop on my tablet that I got last Christmas. Enjoy!

Teen Frankie, pink punk:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...0125/TFFPP.jpg

Or maybe it's pink goth. I'm not too sure what the difference is. I downloaded this one for a Sim I haven't finished making yet. As it turned out, while the outfit is exceptional it didn't really fit the character concept I have in mind. Still far too good to delete, though, so somebody will eventually end up wearing it. In the meantime I just had to try it out on teen Frankie, of course, and I was so impressed with the result that I had to post a pic. Not really something I can see her wearing to class but she might've worn an outfit like this to a party or a concert. Might've turned every head in the area, too.

Its not that bad at all. Just keep plugging away at it and you'll be showing off some real masterpieces.
I really like how you did the red dress. It look really good on Frankie.:D

Frankie_4_Prez 04-08-2008 09:38 AM

The color of Frankie's hoodie

What color would you call Frankie's hoodie? Chartreuse? Jade? Lime Green?

I always just assumed it was green.8D

Lynnie 04-08-2008 06:27 PM

Hmm, the goth look deals with black and silver metals, symbolizing death and bondage in hell, and sometimes involves the wearer wearing makeup to look like a corpse, and they're usually also very sullen in expression. The punk look involves colors, the louder, more clashing and weird looking the better, and the wearer is usually much livelier. Her top could be either, but I'd call this punk. And I think it's worn very well by Frankie since, after all, she is punk rock!

Cass,

Frankie looks killer in both the red outfit and the pink punk! Who is to tell teen Frankie what to do - that outfit is attitude!

xxxClaire 04-09-2008 11:52 AM

Wowww! I love that outfit! And teen Frankie looks great in it!

Medikor 04-10-2008 09:03 AM

I'm not too keen on the punk outfit but who am I to judge?8D

Nice job, she looks fabulos!

Cassini90125 06-13-2008 12:18 PM

Much too long since I updated this thread.

Casualwear for summer:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...25/ff04154.jpg

Part of a set I downloaded over a month ago. When I spotted this one over at TSR I thought of Frankie almost immediately and tried it out on her the next time I ran the game (barely a half-hour later). Definitely a good one for warmer weather, in my mind I picture her wearing this while window shopping along the streets of the Downtown area or enjoying a light lunch at an outdoor cafe. Comes in several colors but I like the yellow with a hint of green best.

Medikor 06-13-2008 01:38 PM

Nice choice, Cass, it looks like a lighter and cooler version of her regular attire.

Lynnie 06-13-2008 05:30 PM

I like that, very flattering. I personally think the waistline is a bit high, but I can't see it too well since her arm is in the way. It looks like there's a belt, and the belt is lower than the actual waistline of the skirt. If the belt is accenting her waist more than the actual skirt waistline, it's just part of the style and would look better. Other than that though, I like the coloring on her, and the ribbing affect of the skirt. It looks like a clingy polyester blend that a lot of skirts are made of. It's a rather flattering material if it's cut right.

I like her wedges, too.

xxxClaire 06-13-2008 07:00 PM

She looks really nice in this. I like her shoes.

For some reason I've always felt that Frankie has a preference for wedges over spikes or other heels. Not sure why I think that; probably because she wore wedges in Frankie My Dear and the idea got stuck in my head.

Howard 06-14-2008 05:18 AM

I like the outfit Cass; especially the comfort it will bring in the Pacific Northwest weather. Wedges for Frankie? Absolutely! I cannot see her wearing any other style of heel.

WiltsAKGirl17 06-14-2008 08:26 PM

Frankie looks very pretty in this one, Cassini-- perfect for a nice summer day!

frankie_fan 06-15-2008 02:49 PM

I feel as if I haven't been to here for a VERY long time (something Cass would not approve of). So, I'm just going to contribute to this and present to you my new Frankie art:

Frankie Foster as the Grey Spy (from Spy vs. Spy) :-*

I bet Mac and Bloo are wanting to be white and black spy now!

Hey FF,

That is a really cute concept - me likey!

Cassini90125 06-15-2008 03:53 PM

Grey works well as both her clothing and her voice. 8D

Sorry, bad pun, but great job!

Interesting look. I like it!

Cassini90125 06-28-2008 01:52 PM

Three more from the Closet

I've always liked purple on Frankie. It works well for her regular skirt on the show, and it works in this outfit as well:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...5/FFC11339.jpg

I'm really not sure how to categorize this one; "retro", perhaps? It's a recent acquisition from TSR, as usual. I took one look and hit the download button without hesitation. Good for a night in the city in Autumn, it's quite an attention-getter; it certainly got my attention quick enough. And speaking of attention-getters, here's one I call "Blue Shock":

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...5/FFC11340.jpg

What a standout; this one is for a woman determined to stand out in a crowd, any crowd. I can't truthfully see our Miss Foster wearing something like this; good as it looks, I think she'd prefer something a little quieter. I love how the bright blue color contrasts with the rich red of her hair and the emerad green of her eyes. This one was created by a gentleman in Poland and can be found on the Exchange, where it has a five star rating. And lastly, there's this gem:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...5/FFC11342.jpg

Another from TSR, this is one of my all-time favorites; a simple black dress with a blue waistbabd and matching floral embroidery. It works for nearly any occasion and any season. Really blows me away. A true classic in my opinion, just like the lady wearing it. :-*

Anyway, that's the latest set. As always, feel free to comment.

Lynnie 06-28-2008 02:06 PM

I really like the first one, I agree with the purple looking good on her, at least that shade does. And the style of that dress is actually very stylish. Kind of different, but in the good way. The colors, textures, and cut all look excellent together.

I love the color of the second one, and it looks halographic or something, kind of cool. I'm not too crazy about the texture clash between her tights and the dress, though. But the color and style are both very nice.

And the third has got to be my favorite, probably because it's something I myself would wear. It almost looks velvet, is it suppose to be? The blue waistband and embroydery are both gorgeous. I'd just prefer the skirt just a tad longer (it actually looks a little shorter than the SIM default length). Other than that though, I absolutely love that third one.

Howard 06-28-2008 08:24 PM

I like the black dress the best. I think of FMD. Put her wedges on her with those straps at the ankles and YOWZA!

WiltsAKGirl17 06-28-2008 10:29 PM

I like the colors in the first two-- the royal purple and ice blue look great! I particularly like the pose Frankie is in with the first outfit-- the outfit reminds me of the 60's, and the peace sign is just the right accessory! The texture of the tights in the second one is, I think, a little on the loud side, but it looks really good nonetheless. Once again, love the ice blue, and it looks fantastic with the white of the tunic pattern.

I really like the last one-- the simple black, when paired with the silver embroidery and the blue waistband, looks fantastic on our favorite redhead!

Fantastic overall, Cassini! :)

The purpose of this thread is very simple; it's for pictures of Frankie, and only Frankie (hence the title), wearing outfits that we don't see on the show. While I imagine that the thread will contain mostly shots of my Frankie Sim, which is the reason I created it, everyone else is by all means enouraged to contribute their own original works of art (nothing naughty or of questionable taste, please). Just use the above as guidelines, and let your imagination do the rest.

We begin with a familiar shirt:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFC001.jpg

It's Monday morning, the first day of Autumn in Foster's Valley, and it's too hot to be cooking breakfast while wearing a green sweater, so away it went. Omelets are on the menu today. Here's another view, as breakfast is served:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFC002.jpg

Eyes back in your heads, boys. An extra special thank-you to Sparky, who created the shirt. Great work! :)

One of the early pics of Frankie on the official Production Blog showed her in a denim outfit of some sort, while another showed her with blonde hair. I got it into my head to combine them, and this was the result:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFC003.jpg

It almost doesn't look like Frankie. I think it looks pretty good, although the hair takes some getting used to.

One of my favorite outfits in the entire game:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFC004.jpg

The reason it's one of my favorites is because it's the outfit worn by Sarah Sussman, the very first Sim that I ever created. Her story is in the Sims thread on the old Forum, where it was the subject of my 1000th post. She's still one of my favorites and always will be. :)

Another denim outfit:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFC005.jpg

Perfect for a trip downtown, I think, which is where she was heading. I think she's smiling because she's happy to get out of the house for awhile. The IF's are in school, Madam Foster and Mr. Herriman are right behind her, and Woof is already in the cab. They're off to the Commandgo Emporium for lunch, a little relaxation, and to pick up one more outfit:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...125/FFC006.jpg

Who says redheads can't wear purple? I think it looks fantastic! @_@

Comments are appreciated, as always. More to come; stay tuned.
