funny you should mention Trower, i've been on a "Day of the Eagle" kick lately. Good stuff.

A lot of my guitar playing has a little Trower in it. You need to check out Misty Long Days, and In City Dreams - both those albums are killer! Some of Trower's unheard of work.

I met Michael Palin (of Monty Python fame) yesterday, he was doing a book signing in a small bookshop in Wales. It was midday on a Wednesday when I saw him so there wasn't a HUGE crowd, but there was still a big queue. He spoke to people, so I asked him if he ever got recognised whenever he was out in Africa/Asia (he has done a lot of TV travel shows since MP). I heald back an urge to shout "DEAD PARROT!" :bendy: :)

My oldest sister, Michelle, who is living in Hollywood at the moment, got the opportunity to meet Johnny Depp at the premiere of Corpse Bride, and said later on that he is one of the sweetest guys she's ever met.

Of course, living in Hollywood, and married to a man who works at a major studio (Warner Bros.), you expect to meet a lot of celebs. Some of the other stars she's met are Mark Wahlberg, John Corbett and Chris Noth (who she reckons is an absolute jerk! :bendy:).
