Well, I'm the kind of person who hates (for example) people being framed for something they didn't do. I hope that it explains how I feel about, as you said, Frankie bashing episodes.

BlooDaddy 04-12-2007 07:41 PM

 bashing eps? I think that the eps with Frankie are good and she plays a good character in the show aside from all the Imaginary Friends.

Voxxyn 04-12-2007 07:59 PM

We're talking about "Imposter's Home For, Um... Make 'Em Up Pals"; which, once you read through both this thread and Goofball's thread(500+ posts and now locked), wasn't very well-liked by certain Frankie fans... especially me.

But I'm glad that you enjoy all Frankie episodes, though.

(Can we change the discussion to something other than IHFUMEUP? I don't feel like arguing or debating it anymore, especially not on this thread.)

BlooDaddy 04-12-2007 08:15 PM

It wasnt really bashing, it was Frankie making a mistake like all the other characters in the show. Goof-Goof lol 8D

Besides there are a lot of good Frankie eps like "Setting A President".

Voxxyn 04-12-2007 08:22 PM

I must say that I admire your optimism, BlooDaddy. Like I said just yesterday on this thread, I hope Season 5 will have some new Frankie episodes.

We've seen Frankie in some sort of alternate dress or outfit in each season, and hopefully Season 5 will continue that. Does anyone have any ideas of what they would like to see Frankie wear in S5?

frankie_fan 04-12-2007 08:26 PM

If it's for the singing episode, it would be anything to top the pink and black dresses from S2. :-*

BlooDaddy 04-12-2007 08:33 PM

Does Frankie play video games? Because she kinda acts like she would.

Oh...and thank you Voxxen

P.S The PPG shirt is cool, she should get a Dexter shirt or a Samurai Jack shirt.

taranchula 04-12-2007 08:42 PM

If you've seen the season one episode World Wide Wabbit, then you'll see that Frankie is very tech savy and calls her computer "her baby" and even goes as far to dive head first in the trash to retrieve it after it was thrown out.

BlooDaddy 04-12-2007 08:47 PM

 I know that, but I haven't seen her play video games except for the high scores list in "Bye Bye Nerdy".

One Radical Dude 04-12-2007 08:48 PM

Heh, no kidding. I would've done the same thing, if I were in Frankie's position! :P

BlooDaddy 04-12-2007 08:49 PM

Me too! I have a nice comp.

kageri 04-12-2007 10:16 PM

I think I've said this before, but for me it would depend on what was in the trash. I don't blame her, though; no one at Foster's is swimming in cash, and her computer is probably a nice diversion from Mr. Herriman.

Yeah but, you make a good point about the contents of the can. I sure as hell would dive in for my computer (though probably not LITERALLY).

However, if it's full of stuff like roadkill, leaking pop bottles, or sticky gum wads, I think I'd reconsider.

This is a hard one. I could see her dressing up in a very profesional dress suite if her, Mr.Harramin and Madam Foster go to meet some bankers or something. But I would like to see her wear something a little more casual or cute, myself. A halloween costume could be interesting.

Oh, man, so many ideas come to mind here that it's hard to choose among them. Something that really says "punk rock" could be interesting, or perhaps a formal gown that one might wear to a fundraiser for the house. Even something as simple as a workout suit or a pair of jeans would be fine; she looks great in everything, so any new outfit would be fine by me.

Black leather Bomber jacket with a black miniskirt and a hot pink shirt...

did i say that out loud? :wiltshock:

Mr. Marshmallow 04-13-2007 12:14 PM

I think Frankie would look great in a Daisy Duke (Hazzard) outfit. Perhaps it's my perverse nature but, I think Frankie would look amazing in a cowgirl kind of outfit like that. Another skirt like Cass said would be nice to see, something new.

While I never get tired of Frankie's current choice of clothes, it would be nice if she did tried some new outfits. It'd also be nice if Frankie had a chance to whip out that bathing suit a bit longer then she did in "Squeeze the day".

Actually, I really thought the way she looked coming back from the beach with the mix of the bathing suit, green sweater, and sandals had a very cute look to it. It was brief but sweet.

I used PowerDVD to capture Frankie (seeing as I have the Season 1 DVD), and then used Paint to remove the background originally used in the capture. After that, I copied it onto the background image and inserted some text. In case you've forgotten, the top left is from the Eskimo Joe song 'Black Fingernails, Red Wine' (like my signature bar) and the bottom left is the first line said by Frankie (after talking with Scissors).

And that's how it's made!

Cassini90125 04-13-2007 06:59 PM

By coincidence, PowerDVD is what I use to made episode screencaps, too. Works pretty dang well, too. Paint is also my editing program of choice; unlike that Adobe Photoshop Elements crap that I wasted good money on, it's usable and user-friendly, and it doesn't require a PhD to understand. :frankiemad:

The following screencaps were made with ScreenHunter.

Yes, I had a very good time making these.

Anyone want to see what else is in Frankie Foster's closet?

Voxxyn 04-13-2007 07:07 PM

Those are all great, Cass. I'd love to see what else is in her wardrobe

And I love the wallpaper, f_f... I'll be alternating between yours and kaytea's Frankie wallpaper.

Hell yeah I would, and I always knew Frankie would look good in dukes  thanks for posting those.

Invader Bloo 04-13-2007 09:45 PM

I would too.

I wonder how big a role Frankie will have in "Cheese A Go-Go"?

Medikor 04-14-2007 01:14 PM

Those are great, Cass! As for "Cheese-a-go-go": That's the first I've heard of it. Frankie's role in that likely wouldan't be anymore than "Mac Daddy". I mean, she's already stared opposite of Cheese in one episode, let someone else have the pleasure/displeasure.;)

Invader Bloo 04-15-2007 08:37 AM

Well Bloo was the one in "Mac Daddy" & he looks to be with Cheese again.

Howard 04-16-2007 06:31 AM

Cass!

I just saw these, and they are HAWT! Thanks for doing them!

Partymember 04-17-2007 04:02 PM

well, after further study i find it is quite inpossible to actually enter my computer, so i'll have to be stuck with just staring at my screen and drooling...as usual.

great job Cass!

Punk Frankie...words cannot describe.:wiltshock:

There is a parrot in the house but it's flying loose at the moment. I leave it to you to guess which Imaginary Friend let it out of the cage. :slybendy:

The skirt is either alligator or snake but I have no idea which.

More to come, eventually, after I look into a couple of new game glitches. For now, how about we get back to Frankie?

Voxxyn 04-19-2007 08:32 PM

Getting back on the subject of "Cheese A Go-Go" -- I hope Frankie will have at least some kind of role in it. It doesn't have to be big or pivotal, but I want it to be something. To me, the show loses a lot of depth and warmth without Frankie.

If it turns out to be another "Make-Believe It or Not" in which the episode acts as if Frankie doesn't exist at all, I'll be very disappointed.

Not to mention, ALL of the other characters (outside from "the fosters 5, goo, and her massive heap of imaginary friends) didn't appear, either.:o

That was the main reason I disliked that episode, not to mention NOTHING was explained for why everyone was gone. But back to Frankie and Cheese, I would say as far as betting goes that Frankie will have probably at least more air time then usual for this episode.

Only reason I say so is as much as Frankie hates dealing with Cheese, she almost always ends up having to put up with him no matter what happens. Cheese bounces off either Mac or Frankie and considering how funny and great they were in "Big cheese", it'd be a shame to waste another good opportunity.

So I think she will do something more then usual but it really is anyone's guess. If not this episode, let's just hope Frankie does get a bigger spot wherever it may be.

Voxxyn 04-19-2007 09:01 PM

But Cheese won't be the only focus. What about the alien invasion(as in ACTUAL aliens instead of IFs) that will be apparently be the central focus of the plot? That makes it vaguely similar to MBION. It'd be nice to think that it'll have Frankie do something heroic and help "save the day", but that might be expecting too much...

(If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's a link)

Mr. Marshmallow 04-20-2007 10:13 AM

Actually, I think that would be something really neat to see. Having Frankie be a hero or do something heroic like to stop the aliens or save whatever disaster would be a nice change of pace. As opposed to Frankie usually being left with the disaster splattered all over her face or name by the end.

If something like aliens landed, I could totally see Frankie being the level headed one trying to do something about it as opposed to being panicky and freaking out. Plus we know she's resourceful, look at all the crazy crap she went through to get inside the house in "Bloooo".

You may right Vox and it may be too much to ask of Frankie for this episode, but I personally don't think it's asking too much. I guess really what I would like to see is Frankie get some gratitude for a change on like anything. The house, the TV crew, the website, cooking, trying to work with Cheese.

She doesn't get the slightest hint of a "thank you" from anyone.

Medikor 04-20-2007 10:50 AM

My guess for the alien invasion is that it will either be a dream sequence or only a few come to earth and get mistaken for IF's. I could see the aliens taking advantage of Frankie's caring nature somehow... or just driving her nuts.8D
I'd like to see more of Frankie in the new episodes but I'm kind of drawing a blank at the moment as to how.:-[ I think what I would really like to see is Frankie have a girls-night-out with Kathy (who would always be conveniently off screen or hidden behind something and never heard because Bloo would always cut her off.) only to have Bloo tag along.
