Following up Roger Moore's best Bond effort, today I took in his series swan song "A View to A Kill". And speaking of songs one can't think about this movie without thinking about Duran Duran's awesome theme tune.

Man say what you will about the Moore movies, but they had some of the best theme songs in series history....(Live and Let Die, Nobody Does it Better, For Your Eyes Only, A View To a Kill.)

Grave of the Fireflies.
I cry my eyes out every time I watch it, as it's an extremely emotional movie. I have never talked with anyone who's seen it who didn't come away from the movie upset in some way. The movie is based on a true story of 2 children in WWII Japan and is written and seen through their eyes. Definately a must see for anyone over the age of 13. I don't think younger viewers would appriciate the movie and would have too many questions regarding symbolism.

How can I be on a Bond movie kick without viewing my all time favorite film in the series, "From Russia With Love". Which I just completed watching just a moment ago.

I went to my local theatre to see Happy Feet. Despite the fantastic settings and brilliant songs (and I'm not trying to be critical here), it could've been better, considering the amount of talent in the film.
