the remake, it was....all right. Not much on dialouge or plot but it's definitely fun if you like lots of mindless gore and I emphasize the GORE part!

Wait.....they made a remake of "Black Christmas"? I can't believe I didn't hear about that......

Anyway, the last movie I went to see was Night at the Museum last night. I was actually pleasently surprised by it. Sure, it wasn't a masterpiece, but I thought it was definitely a fun movie to see and it was nice to see some old faces from the entertainment business like Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney again. I loved Owen Wilson and Steve Coogan in it. Personally, I thought it was wonderfully imaginative movie that suffered from maybe a few writing problems, but still a good movie. I don't regret seeing it.

I really wish it was given at least an extra half-hour, because it feels VERY condensed at times. It's really good towards the end, though. Ralph Fiennes was spectacular as Lord Voldemort.

I have a feeling the last 3 movies will leave alot out too. :(

Well, I think OotP can be condensed far more easily than GoF, since it was a very introspective book(dozens of pages of Harry thinking can translate into a mere few seconds of runtime). But I still think they should give the remaining films an extra half-hour.

That, and do something about Michael Gambon. His portrayal of Dumbledore is just disgraceful, and an insult to the character, to Richard Harris(R.I.P.) and to all the other adult HP actors who actually do justice to their respective characters.

Yeah Nath, the movie was remade, here: http://imdb.com/title/tt0454082/

I've seen Gambon before and he's not a bad actor, but I agree he's no where near the Dumbledore we knew and loved from the first 2 movies. But I wouldn't call his acting a "disgrace" Vox, I think that's going just a tad bit harsh.

George Clooney as Batman........now that was a disgrace. But seriously, my guess is Warner Bros didn't have alot of options for replacements for Dumbledore. They needed someone talented and relatively somewhat famous.

Gambon isn't a big actor but he has talent and he's doing the best he can. I can't really be mad at him though because of the circumstances, the original actor died, there's really little to get around with that.

Oh yeah, and the last movie I saw was "Short Circuit".
