LMAO!!! That is the funniest thing I've read here in quite awhile! ;D 8D
I want Frankie's shoe, though. |
That's probably more accurate than anyone wants it be.
I'm just hoping we'll get any kind of Foster's merchandise down here! |
Yeah, IB's speculated list isn't far off from what could actually happen. :(
Weren't the toys supposed to come out in January? I guess they've been delayed alongside the DVD(and thus further making me believe that Season 5 has been quietly delayed to March or maybe even later). Just one thing I'd kinda like to clear up about me; please don't take my original heated posts on this thread seriously. I was in a spectacularly bad mood that day, and I got a little out-of-hand in this thread. I will be very upset if Frankie is excluded, but what really matters is that S5 has more great Frankie episodes and moments. |

It's nice that there will be an Ed available so you can recreate the "I like cereal" scene. 8D

How about a "talking" Cheese plushie that says five of his best quotes? (Just squeeze his hand, or tummy)

Well. That's slightly frightening. It freaks me out. Just a little. Scariest of them all: Cheese in Cheer Leader Outfit. I think that the CHEESE fans will get sick of Cheese. Hysterical idea, though. -Marty :goo: |
Told ya so, all from Toy Fair:
http://photos2.figures.com/gallery2/....php?photo=567 Meh, this is dinky. http://photos2.figures.com/gallery2/...&size=big&cat= OOH! I like! http://photos2.figures.com/gallery2/....php?photo=539 I guess this is the RC Bloo? http://photos2.figures.com/gallery2/...&size=big&cat= Packaged. http://photos2.figures.com/gallery2/....php?photo=532 The beginning of dinky Cheese products! |
Part 2:
http://photos2.figures.com/gallery2/....php?photo=511 Even more proof: Cheese with heart! http://photos2.figures.com/gallery2/....php?photo=507 Cool for people who play basketball or just Wilt fanatics. http://photos2.figures.com/gallery2/....php?photo=516 Wow, the only thing I want is the RC Bloo & the plushies. Ok, where'sthe actual figures & Frankie, Herriman, Goo,etc... toys?!:'( |
The toys themselves aren't very impressive... and no Frankie, ugh...
If this is all that Mattel is planning to offer, then I'm not interested at all. |

Those toys look AWFULLY small, and like you said, rather "dinky". I did kinda like the plushes, and the Wilt snowglobe was REALLY nice(LOVE that pose), but the Wilt figurine had WHITE shoes?! I, too, am disappointed that there's nothing with either Frankie or Madame Foster; I mean, come ON, they may be humans, but they're still integral characters! I surely would have thought that there would be a Wilt and a Frankie version of those little dancing things, since they both have their own unique dancin' style on the show.

Sadly you have to look at this from the company's point of view. Little kids are the main target of these toys; and for them, watching the show Frankie isn't really as appealing as some of the more major characters. I'm not bashing Frankie, please don't think that I am; but I'm being honest. She's a more mother type character in the show. She brings some good weight to the show, plus she's the one who does the cooking, and cleaning for the house. Marketing her to the younger generation would be imensely tough since she herself isn't as goofy or.. well, 'fun' to the young kids as the other characters are. I guess the same would go for Madame Foster, and Mr. Herriman from what I can see and what I can't see.
I guess that's why they moved those three onto their own statuette, for the more adult viewers of the show. |
Aww man! Thats sooo diapointing!! I wanted to see Fosters Action figures that were like the invader zim ones! The could have at least put the Wilt action figure in a normal pose and taller. It would also be cool to see the Bobble Buddies from Co Co For Coco Cards!! Maybe these are just like the prototypes or something. If not then hopefully there will be more then just this!

Thanks a LOT for posting these images, Invader Bloo. :D
Lol, my studio swag still wins. ;) Oh well. |
I don't think they're all bad-looking. A few of them definitely look decent. CG's right, though, the ones that will buy most of the toys are people younger than most of us. Good or bad-looking items, I hope the Foster's toy line performs well.
|
Thank you so much Invader Bloo for posting these pics. :bloogrin
As everyone else has stated ~ these toys are a rather unimaginative and disappointing offering! Fosters fans should help Mattel design Fosters toys!! *Why* wouldn't they make some plushies or beanie toys? I'd much rather give/or own a plushie than some miniature plastic toy that will fall over on your desk when you try to display it! :( |

I'm quite disapointed that Mattel got this license.
Look at the beautiful work Palisades (Now shut down) had done on Invader Zim line: http://www.mwctoys.com/images/review_htzim2_3.jpg or to give it to a Children oriented company, Hasbro: http://www.canmag.com/images/front/s...ionfigure2.jpg While, the Fosters toys are badly sculpted & badly painted.::) |

Does anybody know what date these things will be in the toy stores? I really want to examine them in person and find out the prices.
|
I, for one, am slightly disappointed. I think I'll stick (for now at least) with my wind-up Bloo from Burger King.
-Marty :goo: |
I don't think Mattel was the best option.
I was looking for a Cheese toy over Christmas but couldn't find any. My little brother kept bugging about what I got him for Christmas so without thinking I blurted out "cheese". He got mad but I thought about it and I thought it would be cute to get him a Cheese toy. So maybe they will be out for his birthday and I can get him one. Yay! I want a big stuffed Eduardo...... |
And fresh from entertainmentearth.com, the first picture of a Mattel FHFIF game, Corridor Chaos:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...rchaosgame.jpg *Sparky offically drools over this.* Don't know when it'll be out...but it's $15 (US) |
Uh, dude, I hate to tell you this but the game was released over a month ago:

Invader Bloo, the link you have given us just doesn't seem to work on my computer... or maybe it's just Internet Explorer...
Well, whenever I open it, is keeps on loading something like, the bar at the top of the website, along with ads. Then it flashes white, and loads again. (Repeat process until I get so annoyed I give up and close) I don't know why I'm telling you this, because it's not like you can do anything about it. I just like to complain. I'll go try the links on AOL and come back with news. |
And from amazon.com...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...HoopnHolla.jpg The Hoop 'N Holla game, with a talking Bloo basketball. |
(featured in the NF Amazon Store :D )
Yeah, it looks cute. edit: I just ordered one. :D |
I see that there is a Wilt version of those spinning dare-off toys, even if it's not pictured (at least as far as I could see) on those official photos. Some early releases have started showing up on Ebay. He's paired with Grim (who, interestingly, is actually shown in those photographs with Cheese). I guess that shows that nothing there is entirely set in stone.
|
Yesterday at KB Toys,I saw a Bloo Toy where you use his tongue like a slingshot and if you let go of it,it'll fly! A Wilt toy is included with it!
|
And welcome to the boards, CheesePotatoes.
I haven't been inside a toy store in a while, though. |
Well... I collect diecasts and figurines from:
-SpongeBob SquarePants -Scooby-Doo -Star Wars -Disney/Pixar's Cars -VeggieTales Not to mention Legos. And although, you know "What a loser! He plays with toys!"... Well, I like toys. And since the "Cars" diecasts are made from Mattel, here's what I can say. They have amazing detail. There are sponsor stickers on race cars I have to use a mignifying glass to read, yet they took the time to print them instead of just generic colors. Also, they have characters who appeared for only like 30 seconds or less made, so if they don't have Frankie for "Foster's" toys, it'd make no sence. And you're right, we might be looking at 2-packs also. They also did that for "Cars". One other thing: They are probably going to have main characters in like 30 different designs, and some minor characters in only 1. We may someday see "Carpet Burn Bloo" from "Squeeze the Day" on the shelf. 8D |
I collect SW too. As well as Spider-Man & Indy Jones, if figures are ever released for that.
