Colour me totally speechless. These are some of the best Foster's fanart I've ever seen. Simply awesome work, PTPS. I can't say much more than that.:D

antgirl1 09-06-2007 06:08 AM

Yes, so it is my fault for the promps. :D

jekylljuice 09-06-2007 10:17 AM

Hurrah for Wilt the tree-hugger! :D

Your nephew is quite a promising little doddler too. :)

Impressive drawings you have, ptps.

Also, your nephew did a good job on his drawings as well. :)

LaBloo 09-17-2007 04:56 PM

Whoa! That's amazing!

LaBlooGirl 11-08-2007 04:38 PM

OMG your avatar....I want that blown up into a huge poster size and hang it on my wall....it brings tears to my eyes the kind of point you portrayed there...the friendship...what true fan of this show doesn't love that? I may pair them up often, but I do love just seeing them being friends like that.
AWESOME.
And as for being a huge Wilt fan...join the club... :D

GREAT art, can't wait to see more!!

ptps 11-10-2007 03:43 PM

Okay HAY GUYZ, LONG TIME NO UPDATE.

Visiting my aunt in NYC currently, will be here until maybe Jan 2008. Can anyone give me a heads up on where the nearest Hot Topic is so I can finally go get that Wilt hoodie I've been drooling over in my dreams for so long??

Also the daylight saving time is confusing me and I can never seem to catch the Foster's episodes on CN. The last ones I caught were Schlock Star
and the Season 1 one where Mac and Bloo keep getting stuck on the roof - can't remember the title of that one now. Can anyone give me a rough timeline of what times the cartoon airs? Mucho gracias! :D

BabyCharmander 11-10-2007 05:24 PM

HOLY CRAPZ I love your art. <3 I've seen your One Piece stuff before and your Foster's stuff is just as awesome~ I LOVE the colors and stuff you use. %D And hooray for Wilt fanart. (One of the many Wilt fangirls here, eheh...)

Foster's comes on around 4:00 PM EST (I dunno what timezone NYC is, eheh... %D; ), and the ep you can't remember the name of is Dinner Is Swerved. XD Dunno where the nearest Hot Topic would be though, sorry. D%

Nem 11-10-2007 07:32 PM

You can enter either your zip or state, and find all the Hot Topic's in your area =)

Sorry ;; That's the best I can do to help you find one, also, your art...no words can describe the awesomeness of it D:

antgirl1 11-10-2007 08:39 PM

OMG That's awesome! Nice take on Good Wilt Hunting! :D

Love the pic-I can feel the emotion coming from it, with Wilt leaving to go meet Larry for one last time, knowing that he probably won't be coming back to Foster's(except maybe in a body bag). Even without being able to see his face, I can imagine his expression-sad, yet determined.

I can't really help with the show's time slot; the best thing I can suggest is to grab a newspaper with a tv listing in it, since the show seems to come on at different times each evening and sometimes does not air at all. As for Hot Topic, as far as I know, they do not have a Wilt hoodie, though they do have a couple of hoodies with him on it(along with the other characters). I went to get my Foster's calender from the nearest HT here last night, and they were sold out of the Foster's hoodies, but can order one if you want them to. The clerk told me that the Foster's stuff is selling out almost as fast as they can get it in, which is great news. BUT, they still need to come up with more Wilt stuff, with just him, and so far, only the Wilt t-shirt(with him running) and the wrist band have been issued. Both were sold out at the HT I went to last night.

aha NYC is exactly twelve hours behind EST if I'm not wrong... though I doubt they'll show Foster's at 4am XDD;;; thanks though!

omg the nearest one is at Queen's B?!? That's too far! ;__; I'm at First Avenue. Arrrrgh. Why must they torture me so?! Thanks for the info though! :D

Damn. I have no idea where to get a TV listing, and most of the times I switch CN on they're showing B&M or Lazlo's, both of which I dislike greatly. >>; Thanks for the info, and for what HT sells :D

Sorry there're no pictures, but hopefully I can get some stuff up soon to post. :D Thanks everyone who's following this thread!

New York City IS on Eastern Standard Time(EST); it's in the exact same time zone as South Carolina, or any other state that borders the Atlantic Ocean, so that's the time slot you need to look for. Whatever time Foster's airs here where I live, it airs in NYC, also.

Lynnie 11-12-2007 07:30 PM

Wow, are you in downtown NYC? Near Manhattan? That's pretty cool, and I'm envious as I'd love to experience the big city atmosphere, if only for a short time. Yeah, it surprises me that there are only two or three HTs in the general NYC area, I'd surely expect more. Hope you're able to get to one of them. :)

If you are close to downtown, are you aware that there's a big parade coming in a week and a half? And, although it still hasn't been confirmed, there's suppose to be a Foster's float in it like there was last year. It'd be awesome if you could go and see it first hand. :D

Welcome to the US, btw. :bloosmirk:

ptps 11-20-2007 11:54 AM

I sort of had a really bad experience at the Halloween Parade, so I don't think I'm quite ready to go into big crowds again :P I will keep a lookout for the parade though, and for Friends-Giving Day!! XD I haven't been able to catch any episodes, so hopefully I'll have fun during the marathon. XD

Either way, er, SMALL UPDATE YAY.

We were touring the Niagara Falls and my parents thought we should take along some ponchos so we wouldn't get wet or something. On the bus trip I got really bored and decided to draw stuff on my poncho using a Sharpie. I am so full of fail. XD

On a last side note, I've finally put my fanart website back in order. It contains basically all the Foster's fanart you see here, organized for easier viewing, as well as old fanart of other fandoms I'm into. It DOES contain some PG-13 images, especially in the non-Foster's sections, so younger audiences be warned.

BabyCharmander 11-20-2007 01:09 PM

LOL, that's awesome! XD I love how Eduardo's clinging to the side!

Cassini90125 11-20-2007 02:01 PM

Smudged skirt or not, Frankie looks great!

Oh, I didn't see anything I'd call PG-13 on your site, at least not in the Foster's section, so don't worry about it. ;)

pitbulllady 11-20-2007 02:03 PM

I know a LOT of people who'd pay handsomely for that poncho! It's a wonder someone didn't try to steal it, lol! It's great, in any case, absolutely amazing.

Sparky 11-20-2007 05:12 PM

Love the poncho, and thanks for the link to your art site. ;D

Imaginary Light 11-20-2007 06:02 PM

Hey, you were in Niagra Falls recently? Wow, you should've visited me :P

That poncho is awesome, by the way! I really love the "I *heart* FB" boxers on the tush area 8D

Nem 11-20-2007 06:25 PM

Best poncho ever.

I'd put it in a frame and use it as a decoration :]

Nyo 11-20-2007 06:27 PM

Haha I love your poncho.

Lol at Ed at the side, Frankie came out nice as well.

Shelltoon 11-20-2007 06:29 PM

It's really cute! If only I could buy something like it.

Lynnie 11-20-2007 06:58 PM

Once again, you have amazed me PTPS! That is one amazing poncho, everyone looks wonderful. Niagara is a grand place, too. Hope you enjoyed it! And no, you are not full of fail. You are full of success! :)

Subzeroace 11-20-2007 08:44 PM

Nice poncho! You were at NF? Canadian or American side? (I'm guessing the American) The Canadian side is much more of a tourist trap XD

jekylljuice 11-21-2007 01:45 AM

You're just showing off now, aren't you? ;)

Lovely poncho. I may have to steal it some time. :slybendy:

TB 11-21-2007 05:17 AM

I said it before I'll say it again.

God I love your work. I'm seriously lovin that poncho.

Dragonrider1227 11-21-2007 10:22 AM

Excellent work! I love that first one with Mac and Bloo in the car ^^ and the one with Frankie

antgirl1 11-21-2007 12:59 PM

Yay Foster's on a poncho :D

ptps 11-27-2007 07:31 AM

Thank you everyone! :D And I'm flattered that there might be people who would actually consider buying that badly drawn poncho from me, but since I don't work under CN (and I might possibly be breaking copyright laws by selling stuff like that...) :P

Anywho, this isn't fanart, but I figured I'd just post it here instead of making a brand new thread (since it's just a one time thing).

Guess what I bought while I was in America. XD

The Converse shoes I got at a bargain price off Factory Outlet (had to restring the laces though), and the wristband - which I've been searching high and low for ever since Wilt became one of my favorite characters - I found almost hidden beneath a collection of pins and badges on a roadside store near 8th street. I am a very happy fangirl. :D (I'm wearing them now!)

I'm not so sure you can get into trouble selling fan drawn work. Otherwise you'd see a lot of art vendors at conventions getting into some deep doodoo. I'm no lawyer though.

I would look up the laws behind that. I'd personally love buying a shirt or something with your art on it. I adore your work. :-[

Also: Yay more Con-wearing buddies!

Ya know, I have those same shoes, and I never thought about restringing the laces with thicker ones.

Thanks for the idea, I shall totally do that now XD

pitbulllady 11-27-2007 04:42 PM

I've got those same shoes, and I also re-laced them with the wide white laces, to look even more like Wilt's shoes, but I cannot find a wristband like that, or the socks, ANYWHERE!

Ub3rD4n 11-28-2007 01:24 PM

That poncho was the best! Really well done!

Partymember 11-28-2007 03:11 PM

freaking awesome job

Fantastic, and ORIGINAL job with that poncho.:D

THE POST OF GEEKY FAIL

HALLO EVERYONE

This post is a declaration of how much geek and fail PTPS is made out of LOLOLOL XD

It's snowed twice thus far in NYC this December. On the first day of snow, there wasn't enough snow with the consistency to make snowmen, so I did this dumb doodle on the sidewalk of Central Park:

BUT THEN IT SNOWED AGAIN ON SUNDAY AND I WENT ALL OUT.

XD I know it's an incredibly lame looking snowman, but sue me. I hail from The Island Smack In The Center Of The Equator Where The Sun Shines For All Eternity, and I've never had this much snow to play with in my ENTIRE life. And I wasn't prepared with snowman-making material so I had to use the leaves and stuff around me. XD; I tried making the eyes out of ice and nuts at first but the nuts were too small to stick so yeah. Leaves with a twig thrust through for pupils. XD;;

Another view:

I snapped this just as the snow plow machine came trundling down and I was like "NO GET AWAY FROM MY BABY :edmad:" but they didn't run it over, so I guess the "sculpture" was there until some kid decided to stomp it flat or until it melted. XD

I am full of fail Y/Y ?? XD

Cassini90125 12-17-2007 11:36 AM

You are full of WIN. Snow Bloo! I love it! ;D
