I would've suggested that somewhere in the hotel would be easier, not to mention attract less side attention too. Not that fans are bad, but as you know, there is such a thing as too much attention too.

FWIW, it's because of both Bloo's that Craig and Lauren actually had a chance to escape the panel! 8D

Next year, I guess?

Bummer. Maybe next year they could, uh, make a generous donation to security? 8D

It's not so much them not having the clearance to get in (Exhibitors can get in before to setup and stay after to cleanup), but us "regular" folks.

bloonuggets 07-30-2007 04:47 PM

Donation = bribe.

narfcake 07-30-2007 05:51 PM

Oh, I didn't overlook that word ... it's just that it won't work. Not cheaply, at least - one passes about two dozen or so security personell just to get from an entrance to the convention floor.

Um, no...we just couldn't arrange it. When I talked to Lauren on the phone she was waiting for folks to bring their car around so they could load it so they could get out of there asap. There just wasn't time, that's all. I guess they had decided it would be better to bail earlier rather than later after all.

And no, I don't think we scared them away. 8D

I wasn't aware that there were two Bloos? :terrconf:

One Radical Dude 07-30-2007 09:24 PM

Whoops, I misunderstood. :P That's a shame, but hey, maybe 2008.

Keith = Bloo #1.
ORD in costume = Bloo #2.

bloonuggets 11-21-2007 08:44 AM

Great gosh O' Mighty, I just had to BUMP this thread to show you something I found on cosplay.com from a user there who is a colorist for the DC Cartoon Network books.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...loocostume.jpg

Yarrrrr, Bloo-feared the Pirate, and he even left an e-mail if people were interested on how to make one.

One Radical Dude 11-21-2007 09:33 PM

I never get tired of Bloo cosplayers. This one looks great. 8-) Thank you for posting.

Ridureyu 11-21-2007 10:21 PM

So, does my avatar technically mean that I've cosplayed as Frankie?

(Or Frankie's long-lost homeless brother?)

bloonuggets 12-01-2007 11:29 AM

I don't know if that's good or bad...

bloonuggets 01-08-2008 05:59 PM

BUMP TIME!

Since we haven't had a new cosplay in a while, here's one known as adrawer4ever from cosplay.com as Mac with a stuffed homemade Blooregard plushie.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...mac_edited.jpg

This one's great.

rossfellow 01-10-2008 02:50 PM

@OP

Actually, you'd be perfect for the crossdressing, cooking pan-headed dude from Cheese-a-Go-Go. I mean it.

bloonuggets 01-10-2008 09:39 PM

I am willing to guess you've seen my Jessie from Team Rocket of Pokemon fame and Alice in Wonderland cosplays on cosplay.com, eh? I'm actually thinking about a Mac cosplay down the road myself as I have stated earlier in the threads.

And here's two more pictures of some Foster's cosplayers from cosplay.com. Here's The Bonsai Elf as Frankie, complete with a homemade Chesse doll goodness:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...kie_edited.jpg

And here's one of our own members, Subzeroace, as Mac with another home made Blooregard plushie:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...mac_edited.jpg

And here's a rather smexy looking Frankie. She's a Cosplay Lab member named Chico, and also very pretty. IMHO, she maybe the best looking one of the bunch I've seen and posted:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ico_edited.jpg

Great work from all three of these cosplayers.

bloonuggets 03-25-2008 03:27 PM

Of course, it's not as much fun as these guys, but then again, I have to remain impartial...

What exactly are you referring to by "it"? Your post was the only one in this thread today.

bloonuggets 03-26-2008 07:52 AM

"It" is dressing as Mac and Frankie...

Subzeroace 03-27-2008 04:06 PM

Yay my never to be finished costume! That reminds me I have to cut my hair, it's way too long ._.

bloonuggets 03-29-2008 09:57 PM

In the words of someone who had stress relief given unto them...

Look, it's Frankie's Long-Lost homeless brother again!

(And yes, I am capable of looking Normal when I need to.)

bloonuggets 03-31-2008 03:25 AM

Must...not...look...at...picture...

bloonuggets 08-15-2009 10:28 AM

So we haven't seen a picture for quite some time, but thanks to Baby Lain over at Cosplay.com, here's her version of Frankie:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ainFrankie.jpg

Cassini90125 08-15-2009 10:40 AM

Very well done, I must say. Thanks for passing along the pic!

bloonuggets 08-15-2009 10:44 AM

De nada, Cassini.

bloonuggets 10-08-2009 12:10 AM

BUMP!

Here's Hee Hee and Shoe and Bones (Cosplay.com members) as Mac and Frankie along with a Wilt that Waynekaa would be proud of and a Bloo stuffed hand made plushie:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../HeeHeeMac.jpg

And from Waynekaa's American Cosplay Paradise/Experience/Snapshot mega site, here's AuburnKT as Frankie and somebody not ID'd as Eduardo:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...nkieAuburn.jpg

Lynnie 10-08-2009 05:35 PM

I love that first one, their costumes and even looks turned out perfect for their characters. And that's a pretty impressive Wilt too, I applaud them!

bloonuggets 12-23-2009 08:18 PM

And we have a girl named chibi_binx dressed as Frankie with none other than Grey DeLisle, Frankie's voice actress.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...andfrankie.jpg

And here's cosplay.com member krizzygirl206 with a work in progress frankie:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...irlfrankie.jpg

And here's skyyylurrr with her Mac crossplay:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...kylurrrmac.jpg

Cassini90125 12-23-2009 08:35 PM

Nice to see that the fine art of Foster's cosplay is alive and well. Good pics!

bloonuggets 12-23-2009 08:40 PM

And Merry Christmas (slightly off topic) to you, Cassini!

Another Castle 12-27-2009 03:42 AM

There is a boy who dresses as Mac for Halloween, and you can find him on about page 20 of Mac's thread- he has Lauren Fraust's full approval!

KazooBloo 12-06-2016 10:07 PM

Only the third photo looks good.
