Big apologies to ORD, who's heard this a thousand times already...:(

I'm aware that you have to register for a 4-day pass to be able to get into the Con. All well and good, I can afford it. However, my only method of payment is a Solo debit card, and the site won't accept it. (In fact, pretty much no online payment site will take my card, and to this day I don't know why). Now, the site will take Visa cards, and my brother Chris has a Visa (Electron) card, so I am going to give him the registration fee to put into his bank account, and then he'll try and register using his card. However, I'm not sure that Visa and Visa Electron are quite the same, and in a previous transaction, Chris' card wasn't accepted, because of it being Electron and not simply Visa.
I'm really sorry to bang on about this, but it's such a headache, and I want to sort this out as soon as.

Sadly, good ol' bloonuggets won't be able to go to SDCC because it's too darn far away.

But there's a few good hostels there from what I've heard and seen on the interwebs...

4 day pass? You can register for single day passes too, though I'm sure that's not the gist of your post. Heck, this is the first Con for which I've registered the entire weekend.

Right now, no one can register for single-day passes (that may come later). Also, I don't think BBF intends on going to Comic-Con for just one day. :P

Yep ... there's no way one can take in everything down there in just one day.

(It's really just a matter of time in which it'll expand to a full Wednesday ... then comes a Tuesday night preview, etc.)

Gotta go for the full trip. I don't think one can possibly enjoy everything that Ralph's the Con has to offer in just a single day. ;)

Congratulations on your 2000th post, by the way. ;D

Hence the "I'm sure that's not the gist of your post".

BBF: Have you tried a vanilla Visa? Those are supposed to work online. I think you guys have those over there, lol...

Disregard that message now, it's all OK now. Thanks, ORD, I appreciate the help.:)
