Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix!

It was pretty good.

LaBloo 07-17-2007 05:27 AM

Harry Potter And The Order Of the Phoenix.

It Was Great Until The ending. It really went with the book until the ending it got cut-out. I Have More info about the diffrence but I would say, It Was great!

Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

Probably the weakest out of all 6 Star Wars movies, though that doesn't necessarily mean it's a terrible movie to watch. I always enjoy seeing Liam Nieson on screen and he's always proven to be an excellent actor.

Darth Maul however is the sole purpose this movie is fun to watch, for such a short lived character, he's become a bad ass Star Wars sensation ala Boba Fett.

The last movie I saw was... Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster. I love Godzilla movies!

Noises Off

I've been wanting to see the original stage play for years, but since I never seem to have been in the right time or place, I finally decided to rent the film adaptation. Given that the stage play is - so I've heard - largely dependant upon the theatrical setting and much fourth wall demolition, I wasn't expecting the film to be all that great, but for what it's worth there were a few laughs and in my opinion it's damned near impossible for Michael Caine to give an uncharismatic performance...at least I've yet to see a film in which he has. :D

frankie_fan 07-24-2007 05:18 PM

Hot Fuzz

This was truly a classic! I can see why this is becoming popular. It not only gives us the laughs (the scene with Nicholas Angel swearing and Danny putting the money in the Swear Box was hilarious! 8D), but it also worked as a mystery thriller. There was times where I thought that the mystery would overdo the humour, but it only adds to what a great film this is. Not to mention what a great comical villain Timothy Dalton was!

**** out of 5

Music and Lyrics

It was pretty good. Not the best movie in the world but I enjoyed it. :)

Mr. Marshmallow 07-27-2007 09:50 AM

Sky High

Not the Disney superhero flick, this is a strange Japanese movie my friend brought over. It's about a girl who is killed on the day of her wedding and stays on Earth as a spirit, trying to help her husband stop her killer and deal with other spirits, spooks, and specters.

It was a pretty cool movie, much better and well written then I thought.

No way. Attack of the Clones is the worst. It's so dang boring. The only thing that save it was Jango Fett & the Geonosis battle(s).

Mr. Marshmallow 07-28-2007 03:32 PM

The Simpsons Movie

Just got back from it and boy was it better then I thought it'd be. It was a clever and funny story and it had some really good family moments with the Simpsons bonding instead of just trying to kill each other.

Funny and smart, a very good effort in bringing the Simpsons to the big screen.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation

Yes, as you probably figured, I love the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies, but this one is without a doubt the worst horror movie ever! Want to know how bad it is? I'd like to tell you, but nothing in the movie makes any sense at all.

Pawbah 08-01-2007 12:38 AM

Hairspray. The most awesome part was when the film got stuck in the projector and then burned. I have never seen film being projected when it was burning. It was quite possibly the most awesome experience of my life.

Mr. Marshmallow 08-03-2007 12:00 AM

Godzilla Final Wars

What a hell of a send off movie for Godzilla's last movie on his 50th birthday. Best story, set of characters actors then any other Godzilla movie I've seen. Saw this originally at G-Fest years ago at an old fashioned movie theater.

It was a blast then and it's still a blast watching it now.

Medikor 08-03-2007 01:29 PM

Godzilla 2000. Not my fave but a fun watch. And it's so unintentially funny that it makes for a great party film.

"It'll go through Godzilla like CRAP through a goose!" How can you not love such cheesy dialogue?8D

Mr. Marshmallow 08-03-2007 08:46 PM

Destroy All Monsters

Star Wars Ep. II: Attack of the Clones

I think I'm on a Godzilla fever or something. This was a great monster mash up movie but i felt it took WAY too long to get to the big royal rumble at the end. I'm also watching the Star Wars films from first to finish.

frankie_fan 08-04-2007 03:19 AM

The Simpsons Movie

I just got back from seeing it, and it was funny. I really recommend it to anyone!

montitech 08-04-2007 12:49 PM

Inspector Clouseau
this was good, it was an oldder film but still fun.

MAster and Commander,
this was a good buckeneer film.
No romance or anything just war stategy on the open sea.

Good? It was exceptional. I love this movie. It had action, adventure, realistic characters, drama, a good storyline, rousing background music... it beats the hell out of those POTC movies anyday, and I liked those, too. Four stars in my book and a hearty thumbs up. :)

One Radical Dude 08-04-2007 04:57 PM

Fearless. I believe it's Jet Li's final wushu film. It was a very well-done film, and I recommend it for those that enjoy a great action/fighting film.

The Simpsons Movie

Mr. Marshmallow 08-04-2007 07:56 PM

The Bourne Ultimatum

The BEST out of the trilogy. I didn't really have high expectations for this since "Supremacy" got confusing at times, and that damn stupid shaky camera gave me headaches. But this movie really kicked some super cool spy movie ass.

It was clear, easy to follow and they explained EVERYTHING, tied up all 3 movies perfectly and had great action to boot. An excellent film, better then part 1 if you ask me.

Medikor 08-05-2007 05:55 PM

All Quiet on the Western Front: Great movie! It really captured the shear desperation and horror those men faced in the trenches during the Great War. It was very touching and had a sad ending too.
Definitely the greatest telling of war I ever seen. Especially of World War 1.

I prefer the classics, last month the best movie I saw was an old version of
"Moby Dick"
Starting Gregory Peck (1956) as the captain.

That was Exceptional and I would give it 5/5 stars, but Master and comanders I would give just 4/5 I am not sure where the drama was, could you explain maby I missed it since I was watching our newborn when the movie was playing.

I just saw Hairspray too! That one girl can really dance considering she's
a bit overweight. I hope she's in more movies. :cheese:

Godzilla vs. Hedorah

Killer Tomatoes Eat France

Two campy B movies in one day, I am SO hooked on this stuff 8D. Been a long time since I've seen the Tomatoes in action and man was Hedorah a weird ass Godzilla movie.

Amazing. Absolutely epic.

THIS is what its all about, people.

taranchula 08-08-2007 05:11 PM

The last movie I caught was "The Rutles: All You Need is Cash."

Eric Idle's spot on parody of the Beatles and Beatlemania from the late 1970's, and I do have to admit some of the Beatle parody songs they used were a lot more catchier then the original tunes.

Mr. Marshmallow 08-08-2007 10:01 PM

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

GOD I loved this movie! Seriously, pick apart the obvious flaws with some of the dialogue and Hayden Christensen's acting but I totally enjoyed this movie. Some amazing scenes, excellent music and the final fight scenes were spectacular.

Plus, I can't get enough of General Grievious, he's such a fun character for a sack of organs attached to a heartless robotic hunchback spider thing.

Superbad

This movie is well, superbadass! One of the funniest films I've seen. The guys at Apatow Productions are to the 00s what the Farrelly Brothers were to the '90s, masters of a unique blend of gross-out and rauncy comedy with hints of moments that somehow warm your heart.

Jonah Hill and Michael Cera turn in hilarious performances as Seth and Evan, but the real scene stealers were Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Bill Hader and Seth Rogen. Every moment featuring the three of them on screen had the entire theater erupting in laughter.

This is the funniest movie I've seen this summer, and a worthy addition to the pantheon of teen comedies. So when August 17th rolls around, do yourself a favor and see this movie.

Yeah, he's my third favorite SW character (3PO & Boba are 1st & 2nd).

BOT, last movie I watched was Predator.
"Your'e one ugly mother f*****!"

Shelltoon 08-10-2007 08:17 PM

Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla

The storyline was really cheesy, a bunch of aliens build a robot Godzilla to take over the world. Why? They're a bunch of aliens disguised as humans, they don't need a reason to take over the world. XD
