Nicely said. :) I'd also vote to take it down. Just because it's available doesn't mean we have to make it available. too.

montitech 12-13-2006 06:38 AM

First I want to appologize for bringing up the suspision of the code not being legitimate. It had been bothering me since I first saw it posted, because I do watch CN frequently and had not seen it.

However, I disagree in taking it down. I think the reasons given for taking it down are good, and I would have supported in not releasing it to begin with.

The reason I think you should keep it up is because of the issues last month of people abusing posts and PM just trying to get the codes. I think it is not worth the hassel to take them down.

Saying that naturally it is up to Sparky to make the final decission.

On a side note, I hope nobody minds me posting the lists of hints and things for the minigames, I have been getting them only from playing BFAHP since I cannot read the Source code. (I do not own Shockwave) This may be verified since occationaly some of you will se me in the World High Score List. at least when it does not skip my score, historically all the minigames Word High Scores are not always updated weekly.

RedboXen 12-13-2006 11:26 AM

I think I mentioned there was only one code in this months update, and I whould of listed the bigfoot buddie as one of the new ones added.

If you wish I can either stop posting whats been added in the update, I dont want to contribute to any more problems than I already have.

Sparky 12-13-2006 12:30 PM

As long as this sort of thing doesn't happen again RedboX you can do what you like. I've learned from it, anyways, and that's something.

I really don't know if I should take the code down or not. I still can't decide. -_- Maybe I'll take it down. I'll figure it out.

Yeah, you probably should take the code down, just to be safe.

Typically a single minigame give you furnature for a single room theme.
Then the buddies, hats and music are assorted in the different games.

I did not keep track of this stuff earlier on. but some people have been keeping track, but I do not think it is all in a single list that is in an easy to find location yet.

Prizes are listed at the Wikipedia page:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Fat...me_House_Party

Though I don't know how specific the list is. But it can at least give you an idea.

just open paint then use Paste to get the screenshot in, then save the file.

Hope this helps.

Take screenshot first.
there is NO sounds or anything to tell you that the screenshot worked.

now open MSPaint or a wordprocessor or graphics application.
to open paint go to the start menu, click run and enter mspaint then enter. once paint starts then press Controle and v to paste into it. then save the file.

Many of these have already been posted in this and other threads here.

So you are saying you want someone to search through these lists and compile a list of Buddie to where it came from.

Here are 4 Buddies I noticed you didn't have on your list of pics.

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...oreBuddies.jpg

Balloon, Pot of Gold, Leprechan and Cupid. I noticed some of mine aren't in the same order as yours. Like the Flying Hearts are in between Vampy and Witchy on my list. I wonder if it has to with the order you got them or something.

8D i just recently added them .. thanks vicks

they are kind of hard to see, being so small

Vicks 02-26-2007 04:10 PM

LOL Great minds think alike! 8-) Glad you got the pics. Yeah, they really are small. I noticed when I tried to get a good screen shot of the blimp in-game, that it was sometimes hard to find a good floor or background to really see it well. The grass worked great! Do you have pics of each Buddy from in-game, or just from the Notey screen? When I find some time, I could probably help you get those and the hats. Lemme know.

did you read the thread on that game? I had some hints posted there.
If you need more specific help on the game, post in that thread, a specific question.

It isn't complete, but I have a guide to where you get buddies here. You have to play and beat the specified levels of the games to get them. Just "playing" the games isn't enough.

coalietiger96 06-05-2007 06:20 AM

I played and beat the levels of the games on that list but still no buddies!

Vicks 06-05-2007 03:19 PM

Which games did you play, levels passed, and buddies that didn't show up?

After you achieve the needed points to get the awards, you should see the buddies when Coco's eggs pop open. After that, they should be in Notey under the Suitcase, where it shows all your items.

in conjunction with what Vicks said, The word "Level" in the list above is actually refering to the Game1, Game2 and Game3 of each minigame, Not an actual level of Game 1.

If you come across errors please specify details of it.

Monty :-/

Vicks 06-05-2007 11:01 PM

Yeah, I'm sorry, I meant GAME #, or what GAME level were you playing (1, 2, or 3) not what level on your particular turn in one of the 3 games.

If you can give as much information as you can then we can maybe help you better. An example would be:

Snow Bound
Game 1: Snowball Attack
Flying Hearts (Buddy)
I reached a score of 1438 in the game and the required top score is 1250, yet I didn't receive the Flying Hearts buddy (or the Tree Lamp or anything else you didn't get that you should have).

The more info the better. :bloosmirk:

One glitch that many of us have had is we will achieve the high scores and get the rewards, only to have them disappear from our suitcase later. I know I've had that happen on Cracked Up a handful of times. Most likely the problem is not completely logging out of the game. Make sure you log out and not just close the window when you're done playing. Sometimes it doesn't completely save where you're at, or who knows what else, and things have been known to disappear. Since I've made sure that I completely log out, I've never had this problem again. Who knows if it's actually related, but it works. 8D

coalietiger96 06-06-2007 04:04 AM

Actually, i did beat the high score in snow bound and i got the flying hearts buddy.. but all of the other games.. i still play them is there a certain score i have to have?

coalietiger96 06-06-2007 04:48 AM

I just got an alien! from terrance the terrible! Lv1

Vicks 06-06-2007 07:08 PM

Yes! There are certain high scores you must reach in order to get the Buddies and the furniture and music, too. Snow Bound was an example of the information I was saying you should post, so we could help you figure out why you aren't getting the Buddies. I could have used any game as an example, I just randomly pick it. If you still aren't getting Buddies, then post the information like I showed you and we'll help you figure out what's up.

When you go to play one of the games, or unlock a new one, click on the "My Scores" tab on the left of the screen. It will show you what scores you need to reach in order to get a gift. Those gifts will open up and be an award. There are high scores you need to reach on all 3 of the Game Levels, for each and every game.

CHECK NOTEY!!! A lot of this can be answered by reading up in Notey about the arcade and the games. Click on the Question mark on the left side for FAQs and explainations of features in the house. It tells you all this information and will probably explain it a whole lot better than I am. 8D
