WEll It said coming soon showed some clips and said that a goo music video will be in it and when the first 30 seconds of the trailer played we see a camera view that is closing up to eduardo and that is for that was made for the trailer and said coming soon at the end of the trailer

OOoh, so we have some confirmation that Turner does have plans on releasing it. Eventually. That much is good. It's still irritating that they didn't give any specifics about it, though.

Shelltoon 04-22-2008 11:54 PM

Yes, it's nice to know that it's still going to come out... somebody said Season 4 DVD was supposed to be released in September... I'm wondering if perhaps maybe CN decided not to release the Season 3 DVD until September to give us a few more extras.

Ditchy McAbandonpants 04-23-2008 03:14 AM

Sparky: Normally I'd agree with you, but give that there was substantial doubt on this occasion that the item did exist, I'm actually rather delighted! :D

Great to see that they are continuing with the season boxsets, I was starting to fear they'd lost patience. I'm looking forward to Season Three, for sure; granted, the first half of it was patchy, but it'll be great to have Crime After Crime and Room With A Feud on DVD. Seriously, season boxsets should become a legal requirement for all TV shows; I'm still waiting for Powerpuff Girls Season Two and Transformers Animated Season One, CN! :frankiemad:

Shelltoon 04-23-2008 01:38 PM

TF Animated just started Ditchy, it's going to be a while before TF Animated is out on DVD, but I'm sure it will be out... probably a month or two after the toys are released.

Ditchy McAbandonpants 04-23-2008 02:59 PM

Shelltoon: Ha, yeah, I know; I'm not saying that I'm expecting the DVDs any time soon, but I would like to know they're coming. My complaint has more to do with when they decide to rip you off by releasing piecemeal DVD sets that only have three or four episodes on them, often selected seemingly at random, or based on some tenuous theme. ::) Foster's never went down that path, thank goodness, but Powerpuff did at first, and I guess I'm just worried for Transformers because they've announced that they're releasing the first three-part episode as a stand-alone release. I know it was the TV movie pilot, but still, I would have preferred it just to be part of a season boxset, like "House of Bloo's" was...

PS - (Oh, and on a separate note, I can't wait for those toys, either. :bloocross: I've been buying a few pre-release samples on eBay, but that's not cutting it any more; I want these babies on shop shelves so I can go in there and take my pick. Damnit, Hasbro, I want my Animated Blitzwing now!) :bendy:

Well, the Goo Music Video, "M.C. Goo" is a given, along with Gallery of Friends, previews and promos. (Just like season 2, "Cheese Quest" music video, Gallery of Friends, promos, previews, and like season 1, but season 1 had a behind-the-scenes, not a music video.)
I probably won't have a slipcase, either.

I'd set phases on second Tuesday of September.
I think they may decide to go for one set per year in September, or they just skipped the early year release to stretch it out so they don't run out of seasons to release.
I don't think season 4 will be in September, but I'd love if it was.

They did the same thing by delaying a release of SpongeBob SquarePants season box sets. I can't wait 'till those pick up in September, also. And I also want The Fairly OddParents! & Chowder to have season sets, too!

So we have everything about it confirmed about it except the artwork and release date. I bet you all one copy of it that it'll have Goo on it. :P
Just kidding!
(But it will!)

I would love to see season 6 come out before the episodes even finish airing! That'd be cool.

Any new news on the season 3 DVD??? I saw Season 1 at Borders the other day, and it made me wonder...

-Marty :-D

Lynnie 12-23-2008 04:45 PM

Not yet. :bloosad: A lot of people are watching for it though, so we're all feeling the frustration. AAARRGGHH! Whoever hears of the release date first though I'm sure won't hesitate to come share it with the rest of us, so we just need to stay tuned.

taranchula 12-24-2008 03:42 AM

Never fear peoples, quite some time ago I (and many others on this forum) signed up with TVShowsonDVD.com to receive updates on Foster's on DVD, so if any information comes down the pipeline they'll let us know.

Lynnie 03-12-2009 10:49 PM

Sorry if seeing a new post here is getting anyone excited. :P But I was tipped off by a post in IMDb that Wikipedia posted new release dates for not only S3 but also S4. ::) Them being May 19 of this year and November 24, also of this year. And then went on to say

There has been no announcement as to the release date of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends: The Complete Season 5.
Really, and they heard an official announcement concerning 3 and 4? Uh huh, we're just going to have to see about that. I for one am not holding my breath. ;)

I would take ANY information found on Wikipedia with the same grain of salt as reports of flying saucers landing on the White House lawn, as they often turn out to have as much validity. There's been so much spam and outright lies posted on Wikipedia's Foster's site, it's not even funny anymore.

Yeah, don't trust Wiki.

The "only" site one should look to for accurate DVD release information is,

www.tvshowsondvd.com

nine times out of ten if it's on there then you know it's got to be true.

Lynnie 03-13-2009 12:42 PM

I know. I normally boycott Wikis like the plague, they can't be trusted at all. I didn't for once believe it, which is why I posted the way I did. I basically wanted to let everyone know that new dates have been released on Wikipedia so if the dates leak out somewhere else and someone hears of them, they originally came from Wikipedia, so don't believe it. And also, if by chance the dates were posted onto Wikipedia by a reliable source, just happening before an official announcement, we know the dates already. Although the May date seems too soon, we should have heard something by now. The November one might still work though (for S3, not S4). But again, I'm not holding my breath. :P

Cassini90125 03-13-2009 01:10 PM

The May date makes sense, if it's timed to coincide with the broadcast of the final episodes.

One Radical Dude 03-13-2009 05:33 PM

I'll believe it, if I get a source from either TVShowsonDVD.com, a press release, or CN or Time Warner.

KazooBloo 12-15-2016 12:02 AM

Wow, such a long time ago it was released.
