It's as good a theory as any. I'd love to see an episode where they explain it; maybe Frankie goes to the DMV to renew her license and brings Bloo along because he won't stop screaming and whining when she tries to leave him at the House. He soon discovers that the DMV is even more boring than Madam Foster's fabric store. The rest of the episode has Frankie trying to keep Bloo under control and out of trouble as he desperately tries to entertain himself. At the end of the day she looks like hell, and off goes the DMV camera. She gets justice, however, as the DMV camera also catches Bloo doing something horrifically embarassing (I'll leave that part to your imaginations), and she makes him sweep and mop every floor in the house to keep the photo private.

Yes! Yes!! I can DEFINATELY see that happening.

8D I love it!!

Medikor 06-11-2007 06:08 PM

LOL! That sounds like it would be a wonderful episode, Cass! It's kinda odd, yet great, that Frankie, a character who likely wasn't meant to be one of the stars on the same level of Bloo, can hold so much potential and variety for episode themes.:D

Fosters4ever 06-18-2007 01:31 AM

I like her calmness and willing, because even though she is made miserable by Mr Herriman she still carries on and helps her nan and the imaginary friends around the house.

Mr. Marshmallow 06-18-2007 10:02 AM

One thing I appreciate about Frankie is the fact she's gotten so much more heavily involved in the last couple of the episodes. She's had at least 2 decent sized involved roles in the last 2 concurrent running episodes "Cheese a go-go" and "Buck swaps here", and while she didn't do as much in the latter episodes "say it isn't sew" and "something old, something bloo", I'm still happy.

Frankie is doing alot more for the show it's great seeing her in much more prominent roles then just occasionally vanishing after the first 15 minutes, or disappearing completely with no reason explained whatsoever (I'm looking in your direction "Make believe it or not!"). Even if Frankie is going through all kinds of hell like she usually does, I love her additions to the show.

She's still nice and supportive and helpful, like with Eduardo's money problems (before getting side tracted), and even going out of her way to help Cheese even though it ended up being s BIG mistake. Even that unknown crazy ass plan she had made for getting Bloo out of the old folks home. I think all of these instances are signs of Frankie taking a much more parental role.

She's going out of her way to help the Foster's gang in more ways then simply scrubbing their toilets and making their dinner every night. I may be over exaggerating her role in the recent episodes and blowing this out of proportions, but I think it's a good sign Frankie's involvement has definitely increased as of lately.

That's the way i see it anyway.

Medikor 06-18-2007 02:43 PM

I think all of that just shows that, despite her occasional bouts of her thinking that she'll be stuck in the house for her whole life and never get married, ect, She wouldn't want to be anywhere else when it all comes down to it. I'm sure that she would get homesick if she left and tried to get away from her life at Fosters.
She's just so dedicated to others and that's what makes her so endearing and likable as a character. And I am very glad to see her have more and more big roles in the show.:D

Cassini90125 06-18-2007 03:00 PM

I've often said that if she's going to be stuck in that house for the rest of her life, fine, then so am I. She's that inspiring. And yeah, it's great to see her getting more screen time and bigger roles, too. I'm hoping we get another episode later this season where she's the star, something like Frankie My Dear or Setting A President. You know, a nice big role that we can all go ga-ga over.

I agree with that!

It's the waiting for new episodes that kills me. In the meantime, behold:

Which do you guys like better - stars or hearts? :-*

Mr. Marshmallow 06-28-2007 11:17 PM

:wiltshock: damn those are NICEEEEEE!!!!!

I vote for the left one, stars, makes it look more natural and gives Frankie a sort of "shine" to her.

Very nice stuff, some of your best if you ask me Cass.

frankie_fan 06-29-2007 03:05 AM

The hearts one! Hands down!

Howard 06-29-2007 05:37 AM

Tough decision - I am leaning towards the stars, because of the glow on Frankie!:-*

Invader Bloo 06-29-2007 09:30 AM

The stars! Those are pretty damn cool, Cassini! You deserve five Frankies out of five!

Bloo2daMacs 06-29-2007 10:19 AM

I also like the stars, just cause.

Medikor 06-29-2007 11:34 AM

I like the stars, myself. But they are both simply wonderful! You always seem to manage to out do yourself, Cassini. I guess that's the wonderful benefit of working on a theme that you love.:D

Little Baby IceCream 06-29-2007 12:06 PM

They are both good, but I like the stars myself.

~Little Baby IceCream~

some guy you dont know 06-29-2007 12:16 PM

i like the stars one.

Crash-N-Cortex 06-29-2007 01:06 PM

These look very cool, Cass. I like the one with the stars.

frankie_fan 06-29-2007 07:40 PM

Wow. For once, I'm the only one who said hearts. Oh well, if everyone says stars, I'll say the stars as well!

Lynnie 06-30-2007 08:26 PM

Frankie's cool

Frankie is one of my favorite characters, probably because she?s the one I feel I can relate to the most. Although I like all the Foster?s episodes, the ones I like the least are usually the ones where Frankie is having a really bad day (?Imposter?s Home for?um, Make-Em-Up Pals?, ?Cheese a Go-Go?, ?Emancipation Proclamation?). I just feel so bad for her! Sometimes it?s too close to real life, and it almost makes me sick if you know what I?m saying. I understand it?s funny to see someone who?s responsible, level-headed, and innocent suffer to an extant, but I don?t want to see her suffer that much! :(

As for the Glitterfy Frankie pics, I think they?re both awesome! The star one catches the eye more, but I think the heart one is more festive. It looks like someone threw confetti over her, and I think we all know, she?s deserving of that.

welcome! Your sentiments are shared by all who are reading this thread, lemme tell you!

Mr. Marshmallow 07-01-2007 08:01 PM

I can understand how you feel bad about what Frankie had to go through far as "Imposters" and "Cheese A go-go" is concerned, however I honestly wouldn't say that "Emancipation" ranks anywhere near a nightmare experience that Frankie has endured in comparison to those episodes and a few other ones.

Frankie only got locked in a closet after she found out about Lincoln's plans, Mac got the same treatment and so did Mr. Herriman (who faired off much worse then Frankie if you ask me) with "first lady" and all. I'd say "Bloooo" she got it worse then in "Emancipation" also, but I actually enjoyed "Bloooo" very much.

Either way, the nice thing is that no matter which episode she gets treated poorly, and which hellish nightmare she's forced to endure, Frankie always manages to spring back smiling cheerfully, happily, and lovingly as she always does. It takes some STRONG nerves to tolerate the stuff she puts up with.

Yeah, you're right. Frankie didn't really suffer any more than most everyone else did in "Emancipation". I guess I was referring more to the fact she seemed to be the only one who was suspicious of Lincoln from the beginning. I actually liked the eppy "Bloooo", I found it unique. I still felt sorry for her, though. Especially since it would only make sense if she got sick too in the end. :frankiemad:

Just to show how much we like this girl, I'm currently working on an image for something special for her on July 25th. I won't say what it is, though. I do want to ask if you want your user name included in this image. PM me to let me know.

EDIT - I've got a couple of users, I welcome other Frankie fans too!

A rose for my love

Last Sunday evening I opened my email bulk box and found this:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...i90125/DCT.jpg

I leave it to you guys to imagine what I felt in that moment; for a split second, my wildest dreams had come true. A moment later I came back to reality and I said to myself, "Okay what the hell??" The email was obviously not from Frankie; upon opening it, I discovered that the contents had nothing to do Frankie or Foster's whatsoever. Still, the subject line lingered in my head: A rose for my love. I haven't been able to get it out of my mind since I saw it, probably because Frankie's birthday is just around the corner. I wanted to get her something, even though there's really no point in buying a gift for a cartoon character. I was going to shrug it off as just another fantasy when something at a local convenience store caught my eye, the email and the birthday clicked together, and, well, here's what I bought, a rose for my love:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...25/ARFML01.jpg

The rose is frosted glass with a fragrant liquid inside that smells much like a real rose. The pic above was shot with my camera's flash active; the one below has the flash off:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...25/ARFML02.jpg

The red glow comes from an LED and a miniature battery. And I did give it to Frankie, in a way:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...25/ARFML03.jpg

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...25/ARFML04.jpg

It also has a small speaker built in; while the rose glows it plays an old classical song. It's quite enchanting. Just like the lady I bought it for. I know I can never really give her anything, but maybe that's not so important. Maybe it's the thought that matters, or the smile on my face when I see my Frankie plush holding that rose. I feel pretty good right now; I hope you guys get something out of these pics, too.

A day early, but what the heck; I'll celebrate her any day. Happy birthday, Frankie Foster. :-*

Mr. Marshmallow 07-23-2007 11:16 PM

It's very cute and very sweet, I sadly don't think I could divulge myself into the possibility Frankie would send me a rose. Maybe it's my occasional lack of self confidence in my looks or identity or possibly it's just my reality brain having the rare occasion of outweighing my fantasy brain's thoughts.

That's a wonderful gift Cass and I wish you and especially our lovely red headed hottie Frankie Foster a most pleasant birthday. I just feel kinda crummy though knowing I can't really produce a piece of art, a music video, or something similar to these photos to give Frankie a sense of commemoration or dedication.

:( I hate not being able to contribute stuff like that to this forum, or any of the forums I go to. But either way I wish Frankie the best and I just wanted to say how nice it feels to actually wish a fictional character a birthday, usually I thought it was a stupid idea but, now I see and feel what people mean by it.

Ub3rD4n 07-23-2007 11:41 PM

Ah, but you give your informed opinion and I'm sure the forum wouldn't be the same without it.

As for the rose, I had no idea it was Frankie's birthday!

I think it's a nice touch.

pitbulllady 07-24-2007 09:23 AM

I got an audio birthday card from Wilt last year for my birthday, so anything is possible! I wish I could have seen your face though, when you saw that the email sender!

pitbulllady

Medikor 07-24-2007 12:02 PM

That has to be the cutest thing I've ever seen Cassini! Great story.:D And don't beat yourself up Mr.M. I don't really have the skills to make such wonderful things in honor of our favorite character either. It just makes me appreciate the great things that the many talented members here make even more.
And like Ub3rD4n said, You provide us with your input. I for one always enjoy what you have to say in the conversations we have about our fave show and characters.

Shelltoon 07-24-2007 12:05 PM

Can't wait until tomorrow to see the image!! (WOW, a bunch of posts got ahead of me)

That's so sweet of you Cassini. I wish I had the skill to make a plushie!

Lynnie 07-24-2007 03:16 PM

That's just too sweet, Cassini! I got a rose similar to that at Disneyland 11 years ago. I loved it so much, I put it in a bud vase and used it kind of like a night-light. It was very soothing to see in a dark room, like a candle or something. Hope Frankie gets as much happiness from yours as I did from mine. :-*

I get emails occasionally dated from 1905. The first time I saw the date on one I was floored! LOL! 8D

I'd also like to wish Frankie a very Happy Birthday a day early! I'm guessing she's another forever 22 (like me).

Howard 07-24-2007 05:00 PM

Cass, without a doubt that is the coolest thing to happen. Sure, Frankie is a fictional character - but it is fans like you, me, and the others that make her come alive! I think giving your plushie the rose is great; and that plushie is so cute - I want one! I too want to wish our beloved redhead a happy 23 for tomorrow:frankiesmile:, and they better play nothing but Frankie dominated episodes on CN - or else!:frankiemad:

As for Frankie Fan, I am so looking forward to what he has cookin' behind the barn!

Medikor 07-24-2007 06:49 PM

To be on the safe side I'll wish Frankie a happy birthday now in case I forget tomorrow. (yeah right!);)

:frankiesmile:Happy Birthday, Frankie!
