At least be thankful Eduardo is well-liked here. Some other boards I've been to have been downright nasty and brutal towards him.

Why? He's kind and gentle and innocent, big and cuddly, and treats his friends well. For that he gets treated badly? That's really sad. I love the big guy and would gladly adopt him anytime.

Unfortunately, such hostility does exist. TV.com, IMDb and GameFAQs have all had very anti-Eduardo sentiments; apparently to them, he's a "crybaby" and "loser". In my opinion, these places are brimming with the judgemental and rude people that Lauren Faust spoke about yesterday.

I don't get it either, Cass. I think Ed is wonderful. I voted Wilt, but he's second to me.

Ed is actually my favorite imaginary friend. Bloo was at first, but there are so many unique and just amusing things about Eduardo that is hard not to like. I love his backwards image (looking scary but being very gentle and scardy cat like).

I do think he is a coward but that's not an insult, it's a character trait. People are overly scared and freaked out over inane and pointless things, so it's no surprise an imaginary friend would adopt a trait like that. It's one of the things I love about him.

Yup, I've been to those forums and have seen the "Ed bashing" there. I was thinking about joining the tv.com forums awhile back, but now that I've seen some of those ridiculous people on there I've decided otherwise. Personally, I don't really understand why people want to bash characters in the first place. If you don't like them then just don't pay attention to them! Geez! Yes, there are characters I've seen on shows that I don't like, either, but I certainly won't bash them because that's just not who I am.

Sure, Ed does cry a lot at times and he is rather cowardly sometimes as well, but that doesn't make him a loser. If these people could just try to look past his flaws they'd notice that he also has many good qualities as well such as the fact that he's very tender-hearted, gentle, cares about his friends and DOES go through a brave and courageous streak every once and awhile (see Eddie Monster). ;) That is why he is one of my favorite characters on Foster's, after all. :)

I would never call Eduardo a loser.

I prefer the title Coco's Foster's cards gave him.

My other favorites are Wilt :D & Eduardo. :-/ I admire Wilt's gentle nature & Eduardo's timid nature.

Well, whatever title he has, Eduardo's my favorite Imaginary Friend, too. He reminds me of a real-life friend I used to have back in elementary school. :-/ :cool:

Obviously I'm gonna pick Red...aside from the fact that I just love his character, I always have a soft spot for the ones who don't get a lot of screen time...the "little guy", if you will. Not sure what that says about me, but there it is. ;D

Yeah, I like Red a lot and I think he's one of the more overlooked characters on the show, personally. He definitely deserves more screentime. Like someone mentioned somewhere else, I'd like to see an episode where he and Eduardo become friends because they both have similar interests and seem like they could get along well with each other (it's kind of like how Goo and Coco seem to be good friends, in my opinion). :)

Eduardo. He's so adorable and amusing. He does get a lot of love at Television Without Pity, which is where I have been on for the most part. I've seen only one poster there write him off as a wimp and a crybaby.

And I always thought it was "Grade A Idiot", not "Crazy Idiot".
