I don't think the Simpson's are suited to feature-length, it felt that much of it fell flat. Like Bloo in some episodes, I got sick of Homer, Spiderpig, funny the first time, is vastly overrated and is disapointing that it was the best they could think of. Also, I don't like how everyone considers the "why pay when you can watch at home for free" to be such a strong opening line- the same line (not word for word) in a previous episode.

I'm with ya there. I enjoyed the Simpsons movie when I watched it but grew to be very "meh" about it after. The problem with that movie was that it was made when it was. If a Simpsons movie was made back when the show was in its prime chances are that it would have been on the same level of Beavis and Butt-Head do America. All the succeeded in doing for me was make me even more depressed about the show's long lost greatness. :(

On that note, I think I should update this thread with some new hatred. Granted, I haven't seen most of these movies, but from reading about it and seeing clips and the trailers, I shy away from these movies for its comedic use of fireworks. I know that sounds like a lame excuse, but that's just me:

The Naked Gun
Lethal Weapon 3 (this one I found out from an episode of Mythbusters)
Final Destination 3 (even though it's not a comedy)
Thoroughly Modern Millie (I'm convinced that any movie that features any sort of Chinatown is a guarantee that fireworks will be set off)
Jackass (sorry, Mr M :()
The Pink Panther (Peter Sellers original, one of the reasons I prefer the Steve Martin version)
Revenge of the Pink Panther
Deck the Halls
Lt. Robin Crusoe U.S.N.
Yogi Bear (2010)
Two Weeks with Love
The Rescuers

For upsetting, Dolls 1987 is the worst film I've ever even. Following down to the Saw movies, third ones the worst.

For dissapointment, I don't like the American Godzilla because of the director changing it's apperance completely. Godzilla is Japanese, but America raped the design and the title.

And I'm not going to like the new Godzilla 2012 movie if it's going to look like the design for Godzilla '98.

You did NOT like Young Frankenstein? That is a CLASSIC! Marty Feldman (rest his soul) was awesome as Igor. That is one of many fine Mel Brooks classics.:o

You know, I kinda hate it when I say I don't like a movie (or whatever) and am informed that it is a classic, as if that means I can't have my own opinion but have to mindlessly like something just because its a "classic."

Sorry, pet peeve. Just sayin'. :P

Citizen Kane and Avatar. Hate those movies. I have my reasons.

I saw Mars Needs Moms last weekend, and in all honesty, it sucked. The characters were annoying, the plot was too small, and the characters (mainly the humans) looked creepy. I was falling asleep halfway into the movie. :herrsleep:
