Never banal when it's from the heart. :)

The day itself wasn't anything out of the ordinary, really. I made my usual rounds about town and had a snack in the park; later I made a trip to Stop and Shop. The high point was the large cheesesteak grinder I picked up for lunch. Terrible for my diet but once in awhile you've got to say the heck with it and indulge yourself. As we do on every birthday, my brother emailed me something horrid and I responded in kind; we'll probably do lunch or dinner next week. I got a bunch of birthday emails from various Sims sites, and a card from my lawyer, which is nice because it's the only contact I have with her that doesn't cost anything.

Not much I can add to that; it was a good day, which is all I asked for. So from here I'm going to go see what's new in the Spam section, then I'm off to CVS.
