Well, have a good time. Looking foward to seeing you come back! :D:D

Back in black, I hit the sack,
I've been too long, I'm glad to be back

Toronto was fun, I learned a lot about the current state of the Canadian film and TV industry. (Which was the whole purpose of the trip, I guess I should have said that in the original post....aw well now you know) though it would have been a better experience if I wasn't side lined for most of the trip by a nasty cold virus which ruined a pitch I was giving to some animation big wigs, even worse that cold coupled with lack of sleep and travel fatigue made me an emotional wreck for most of Thursday. (Thankfully the guys were very understanding and gave me their e-mail address and contact information so I can pitch to them again at a later date.)

Aw well it may suck, but it's all part of the game they'll tell ya. And it happens to everybody, even the people we all know and admire had to have fallen on their faces a few times before they got it right...right?

Thanks for your replies everyone and once more I have to say, it's good to be back.

(PS If anyone loves Japanese cuisine, Toronto is the place to go...so many many... sushi joints.)

Welcome back, buddy. 8-) Sorry to hear that the cold made things less pleasant. :P

And I enjoy Japanese cuisine!! I don't get to eat as much of it, though.

Nice to have you back, dude. :)

Oh no T! :wiltshock: Get better! Glad you had a good trip in spite of the cold, though. And welcome back (yes, we missed you horribly!).

btw, you only have six more posts to make before you reach 2,000. Woooo hooo!

See that's why you should come to Toronto, so you can get more of it. I can introduce you to a place that makes some of the best Katsu Don* I have ever eaten. ;)

(*Katsu Don is a mixture of rice, vegetables, pork and egg whites and it's really really good. There are other styles of that dish too like chicken, beef, and eel.)

According to Google Maps there just happens to be four Japanese restaurants in the area so chances are, at least one of them will serve Katsu.

Yeah we didn't get to do the Japanese food last time. :'( I pretty much never get to have it normally so I hope we can do it this year...
