Any chance I can talk you into translating the conversation between the whales and the alien probe in Star Trek IV? :bloocross:

I'm fluent in English but that's it. Beyond that it's a smattering of words from other languages, nothing more.

Heh heh, "Paquito" is a name. Diminutive form of "Paco". :D :-/

See, told'ja I couldn't write it. *blushing* I figured I misspelled at least one of those words. Sorry. :-[

Frankly, I'm not the best at spelling, even in my own language (as I'm sure many have seen). I've always been stronger with numbers than letters. I'm "Left-brain dominant" or something like that. *shrug*

Being from a bilingual country, I had to learn French in school. I really hated the classes so much that I made a point to forget it all when I finished high school. Now I look at the friction between Quebec and the rest of Canada and can't help but feel guilty. :(
I've actually grown a desire to speak French but I just find it so hard to learn other languages. I tried to learn Japanese several years ago but I didn't get too far.

I speak German fluently (what a surprise), Italian (it's not perfect yet, but I'm still learning), some French and I'm forced to learn Latin and Greek soon.

Rocket...you speak English too, right? :P

I was thinking about mentioning that, but I thought it was pretty obvious. 8D But you are right. English is actually the different language for me. :p

Well, Dutch (wink, vinny, wink), English, little French, very little Japanese*, and a bunch of Programming Languages.

*"Desu desu? Desu. Desu desu!" (no really, i know hiragana a bit)

My mother tongue is Finnish. In addition to Finnish and English, I can also speak Swedish (I have studied it for two years) and some German (studied for one year).

Kudos to all of you for using English better than most of our native speakers. :)

I speak very disjoined italian, and can usually understand anything people say. Meh.
