Absolutely; it's a very good version, as far as I'm concerned.

If you find a good copy of the version used when Sylvester McCoy played the Doctor, let me know. ;)

I've never really been into science-fiction (expect for Star Wars), but this show is so popular that I decided I was missing out. I'm starting on the 2005 Christopher Eccleston series, and just last month I borrowed a copy of the first dvd from a library. I liked the first episode, Rose, but the next episode, I'm assuming, looks more typical. I didn't get to see the third as I had to return the disc!

I'm a complete beginner of course- I must sound hilariously naive!

Cardiff is actually my hometown, and the show is made here- it is funny for me to recognize the place when they say it is London!

I really like this show. I've been watching it since 2005.

I cannot help wondering if Colin Baker will be at the Con this year.:herriman:

I'm sure Cass would be satisfied if Sylvester McCoy was coming to the Con.

Proabably. Cass and I saw Colin Baker there last year. By the way Leonard Nimoy (Mr. Spock) was there, and I figured if he could be there, so could the original Dr. Who Tom Baker.

The Doctor Who theme played on a guitar, cello and a didgeridoo
