Looking at the photo of the Mac costume in this thread, I'm starting to think I might have approached this differently...Oh well, there's still plenty of time.

Holy crap!
I mean, I know it will look great and all, but its just so creepy after looking at the pics thinking of a giant Mac head walking toward me! xD
Good luck! Cant wait to see it finished. :D

I'm going to be starting over from scratch, using a different approach. I don't feel *too* bad about buying all that foam, I did get a great deal on it, and hopefully I can find another use for it later on.

Nice in Progress! Remember, it is SDCC so it's gonna be hot down there. Give yourself plenty of vents.

I've started over, and it's going to have lots less foam, and like, plastic canvas now. And a fan for sure.

I'd love to see progress on this. Good luck, Sparky! :D

Okay, I've completed the new frame. It's light, I can lean in any direction - and right now I can fit through standard doorways, though that may change after I add the sheet foam, etc.

The link, again.

Not pictured are my hot glue burns. :P I don't have a lot to do this week, so hopefully I can make more progress on this thing.

Can't decide where the fan should go? Can I ask what type of fan you will use?
Most proppers/costumers use little computer fans, and I think two of those in the front lower corners should do well.

That is going to be awesome. Good luck.
