I'm hoping to get some more end credit sequences during the marathon; they sometimes actually show them during marathons.

Bump. Again. I can't decide where to put this, I guess here's the best spot other than starting a whole new thread, but I don't see a reason for doing that. At least it involves the last few episodes to air.

Steve Hulett over at the The Animation Guild blog visited CN studios in Burbank today, and posted a bit about Foster's (yay!). :)

It's quieter and less crowded than in days of yore, but there are projects stirring and series being done.

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is wrapping up its six year run, completing its 78 episodes toward the end of the year. (If my spies are correct, animation wraps up October, the rest a couple of months after)
*sigh* I'm still very sad to see more confirmation that the show is ending. I guess somewhere in the depths of my heart lies a hope that maybe, just maybe there's a chance it will continue on somehow. But my mind knows otherwise. I'm still always happy to see it mentioned though. Just thought I'd share. ;)

It makes me sad, too; I've gotten more out of the show than I ever thought possible. But even though it's ending, as all shows eventually do, it will live in our hearts forever.

I just hope that they AT LEAST show reruns when the show is over. I mean honestly, the show's not even over yet, and I haven't seen a rerun in for at least three months.

...I think.

Well, I haven't seen a Camp Lazlo rerun since it ended, so who knows about Foster's?!

We wouldn't need reruns if they would just go ahead and start releasing the remaining seasons on DVD. (At this point I really don't even care about extras, just the episodes and maybe a trailer or two would be just peachy keen.)

Just a friendly suggestion to any Time-Warner, Cartoon Network marketing people who may or may not be reading this post. ;)

At this point, the earliest I can see Warner Home Video releasing Season 3 would probably be next year at the earliest, since the little piece of card we received at Comic-Con (that showed the upcoming releases) didn't have Foster's, but had Ben 10, Chowder, Ben 10 Alien Force, and the Powerpuff Girls (which is to be released next year). Hopefully, they will remain seasonal sets, and not go down to mediocre volume releases with only a few episodes. :edmad:

That's why I stopped buying Family Guy DVD sets: the Fifth Volume didn't have all of Season 5's episodes, and the first set had all 21 (22?) 2nd season episodes as well as all seven season 1 episodes. Eh...:(

The only Foster's I ever see is on the "Spot the Block" AD...sad, really.

I saw an ad for a new kid's mouthwash featuring Bloo and Wilt a few weeks ago. Bloo was flossing his teeth with Wilt's arm. :wiltshock: 8D And it went on to promote upkeeping good oral health. I haven't seen it since, though. But I was tickled to see it.
