They could even cast it to provide baby noises!:D That would be cute.

While the law ALLOWS them up to 18 months off following the birth of a baby, very few women take advantage of that maternal leave. My sister was back at work within two months of her first child's birth(she's a teacher, like me)and three following the second, and both were C-sections, too. Pregnancy and childbirth are not considered to be that hazardous to a woman's health as they used to be. Women do not get paid when they're on maternal leave, so most need to be back at work as soon as the doctor will clear it, especially if their job is the main "bread winning" paycheck for the household.

And Grey Delisle said herself that she really wanted to be a part of the Fosters show, so I doudt that she would want to be away from it for long.:D

I think she means 9 months of pregnancy, but we don't know how long she's been pregnant.

billytheskink 12-03-2006 04:43 PM

as far as I know, both pregnant women and mothers of young children can talk...

InsaneFan 12-03-2006 05:44 PM

Okay...Veering off topic, but I gotta post this tonight.

I'ma start a Frankie music video on Tuesday. It'll be to the song Princes and Frogs by Superchick.

...But, my mind is easily changed. Since Frankie means a lot more to you guys, ya'll got 'til Tuesday to change my mind on the song choice, give me ideas, etc., if wanted.

I know this should probably be posted in another thread or someting, but I wanted all the Frankie fanboys to be able to have a say in. Yeah.

So...Tick, tick, tick! ^^

some guy you dont know 12-03-2006 05:48 PM

also off topic, but a little bit on topic to what insanefan said, i did find a frankie vid using the song "shes a rebel" although i know almost nobody anymore likes green day, its worth the 2 minuites you put into watching it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9O4pxOLoP8

Medikor 12-03-2006 06:28 PM

I don't really know alot of music, Insanefan. But I say anything that emphasizes Frankies careing and beutiful personality. I'll have to go looking for some ideas. I'm looking forward to the final result, and thank you for letting us Frankie fans have some say in this.:D

*Edit*

Okay I did some thinking and I think a song that could work is "Blue Heart" wich just so happens to be done by Grey Delisle herself.

http://www.greydelisle.com/albumFlowers.html

I would normally just PM this but I think the other Frankie fans should have the chance to comment on my idea of a song for you're music video, Insanefan. I'm really looking forward to Voxxyn's, Cassini's and Mr.Marshmellows suggestions. :)

some guy you dont know 12-03-2006 06:43 PM

why not use "lips of an angel" by hinder?

I just looked it up on youtube. Nice suggestion, SGYDK.

InsaneFan 12-03-2006 07:10 PM

Um...Not finding Blue Heart lyrics anywhere...

As for Lips of an Angel, that's a good suggestion...Though I'm having a hard time thinking of clips that would go with it...Ideas?

honestly, no idea. but maybe episodes like "frankie my dear" would work great for that song

That'd be easy for me, I've already got that ep downloaded and imported into WMM. ^^

I'ma wait still, though...I'll bet another song can be found with more relevance to Frankie moments. If not...I'll figure something out.

This may sound funny, but the Door's "20th Century Fox" would be a good Frankie theme (only in the chorus it would be "she's a 21st Century fox...")

Mr. Marshmallow 12-03-2006 08:50 PM

Looking for "frankie songs" eh?

Hope these help, I think they might work out good:

She's all I ever had - Ricky Martin
There you'll be - Faith hill
Pretty girl (the way) - Sugarcult
Everywhere - Michelle Branch
Looking back on today - The Ataris

Partymember 12-04-2006 03:18 AM

Miracles-Jefferson Starship

Medikor 12-04-2006 07:04 AM

"She's all I ever had" is a very nice suggestion, Mr.Marshellow, I like it. I've done some more thinking and I found a few songs but I don't know if they would really work.

-Heat of the moment-Asia
-Break my stride-Blue Lagoon
-Walking on sunshine-Katrina and the waves

Nothing great, but they could suffice. I'm likeing Mr.Marshmellows choices, though.:D
Oh and as for episodes with good Frankie footage? Bloo's the Boss was good. I loved seeing Frankie do those movements when saying how great Maddam Foster was to Bloo. Loved those splits she did!

InsaneFan 12-04-2006 07:22 AM

Ooh, good ones! ^^ I'm kinda leaning towards There'll You Be...I'ma country music fan. x3 I like all types of music, but country is the station I listen to, and what I know the most.

InsaneFan 12-04-2006 11:43 AM

Okay, heard one today that stuck in my head: She's Everything by Brad Paisley. I know not all of it works perfectly, but I can picture how I'd do most of it...

Just a suggestion to see if you guys like it. ^^

Partymember 12-04-2006 12:13 PM

ooooh...i like that song

+1

(I apologize for being so late to this discussion--I was completely internet-less yesterday thanks to a major connection glitch)

I'm very glad to see that someone else is planning to make a Frankie tribute video! I'll be honest, though, I hope it DOESN'T use "Princes and Frogs". I'm not bashing the song, but aside from some brief flashbacks into FMD, I fail to see any real connection to Frankie. And also, I REALLY don't want the video to be mostly FMD clips, because, yes, I think there's more to Frankie than just that one episode.

I don't really have any song suggestions at the moment, but I WOULD like to randomly suggest the following moments that I'd personally like to see in the video:

"Cookie Dough" ~ Frankie's lil' cookie binge, to show her wild and crazy side.
"Hiccy Burp" ~ Frankie comforting the crying friend, to show her loving abd compassionate side(if you include this moment, I'll be VERY grateful :D )
"Duchess of Wails" ~ Clips of Frankie's quarrel with Duchess at the beginning of the episode, to show off her hilarious angry faces.
"Setting A President" ~ A very obvious one here, of course. (just make sure it doesn't completely overtake the video like the first one)
"The Big Picture" ~ Some shots of Frankie in the green dress, and the scene where she comforts Coco about being overweight.
"Neighbor Pains" ~ A lot of good Frankie scenes here, but specifically clips from her scene with Orlando Bloo, and probably when she catches Madame Foster as if she were a soccer ball.
"Bloo's the Boss" ~ I'm with Medikor, I'd LOVE to see clips of Frankie acting so adoringly and semi-fangirly about Madame Foster in front of Bloo.

These aren't obligatory, just some probably dumb suggestions.

Glad to be of help, I especially thought that song would be nice because 1, it's a very touching song and a very emotional one that I don't think alot of people remember. But most importantly, I think that song has the most ACCURATE lyrics to Frankie's personality.

Like these lyrics:

"It's the way she makes me feel
It's the only thing that's real
It's the way she understands
She's my lover, she's my friend
"

And especially this part:

"There's one thing
That still remains (it's the)
The way she cared
The love we shared
And through it all
She's always been there
"

I also think "There you'll be" is a good one. I myself don't like country, but some songs are good and I think that's a good choice for Frankie. Any clips you use would be great. I'd love to see stuff from "Blooooo" or "The Big Cheese". "Bloo's the boss" actually had alot of good Frankie shots.

Okies, thanks for your thoughts. ^^ And I'll definately use any clips you guys suggest. In fact, most of the ones you just mentioned were the ones I had in mind.

Just some screencaps I spliced together and cleaned up a bit. I've always loved this outfit.

Medikor 12-04-2006 05:33 PM

Very glad to see you make some suggestions, Vox! I've been waiting to see what you'd say cause I knew it would be good. All those clips you suggested are great examples of Frankies character and would give the video great variety.:D
I'm still trying to think up some more songs that could be used, but I know that you guys can make much better suggestions than I could.
Thank you VERY much for that pic of Frankie in her green dress, Cassini! She's so cute in it.
*Edit*
I've found a good song. It's "What About Love?" by Heart. It suits Frankie, I think.

InsaneFan 12-04-2006 06:27 PM

Well, ya'll thought of some awesome songs, but I can't narrow it down. At all. Well...Just not the Ricky Martin one. xD Nothing against the song, but I have a beef with the artist. Dun ask.

So...I'll start the vid tomorrow either at 2:30-ish or 8-ish. Depending on if I have to babysit or not. Until then, can you guys vote on which one you like best?

Cassini's pic: COOL. xD I love her expression there! Kinda like myself in the morning, trying to pay attention to something. *not a morning person*

Mr. Marshmallow 12-04-2006 08:37 PM

So what's the song you gonna use for the Frankie video one Insane?

Or have you not decided yet? Its okay if you don't like the Ricky Martin song, just trying to be helpful. I had more options too.

I just felt that would be good due to the close tie in with the lyrics. I would just recommend not using a "fast" song like Green day's she's a rebel song that the Frankie video that was posted up here before.

Fast songs don't work less the clips are from things that go fast like Dragon Ball Z fighting clips or Matrix shooting clips and stuff like that.

Well, If I had to vote, mine would go to "She's all I ever had". Cassini really hit the nail on the head with that one.:D

Er, I think that was Mr. Marshmallow's idea.

Sorry I can't really add to this discussion. While there are a lot of songs that come to mind when I think of Frankie, most are either too obscure or too out-of-date to be available for making videos. A few are a little too personal. I can't really make any comments on contemporary music because I don't listen to it.

Do you have friends or know someone that arranges music? I arrange music, but I am not sure I cn come up with what you may be looking for.

Cassini90125 12-05-2006 08:58 AM

I think it's best if I just stay out of this. I'm not a big fan of music videos anyway.

Voxxyn 12-05-2006 03:07 PM

I guess I'll go with "She's Everything", as it easily seems to have the closest lyrical tie-ins.

InsaneFan 12-05-2006 03:21 PM

*opens WMM and Limewire* All right! Ready to start!

Hmm...Yeah, I'll probably do She's Everything. Since I've thought through that one the most.

OKAY! HERE I GO!

Voxxyn 12-05-2006 03:23 PM

I wish you the best of luck. :D
