What people don't seem to understand is, you can't just "send" someone a full-length movie just like that. Like, by email. It can be made available for download, it can't be "sent". I don't understand people who think we're going to just present them episodes on a silver platter...

Go download it. If not from one of us, then from someone else.

You could always just check out the downloads section on this website. It's got most of the episodes for download there.

Seriously though, if you wanna buy the eps like a civilized individual, go find an iTunes gift card for $15 or $25. They are sold in nearly every drugstore or supermarket around where I live.

Lovely idea, I'd go and buy alot of things if I could. Sadly some version of the iTunes store doesn't sell some programs. In fact the Canadian version doesn't have Fosters on it, it has pretty much nothing (except Corner Gas and a few nice Nicktoon's) :scribble:

Does that, then, demonstrate that this isn't actually spam? In all fairness, I really don't see why this would be considered Spam if the "Episodes on Computer" thread isn't. Is it the word "T0rr3nt" that people have a problem with?

Please don't feel too bad, ATSI. It might seem like you've had a pretty chilly reception so far (and in my opinion people could perhaps have been a tad more polite), but this is really a very friendly forum, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that we would certainly never go out of our way to make anybody feel unwelcome. I guess it's just a matter of getting used to where everything goes. :)

We have a dedicated "episode download" thread on-going already, so I decided to just go ahead to merge this thread and the previous torrent thread together because a link like that would make the most sense "here."

Just remember if one is unsure where to post something either read the rules, search the forums or even just ask myself or the staff members where something should go.

ATSI, if you're feeling unwelcome or having a problem with any of the users here, please come to me. I have no idea why people thought a link to a place to download Foster's would be considered spam, unless it is proven to be like, a link to porn or something. (If it is someone better tell me.) We have a whole THREAD talking about downloading Foster's, as I believe was pointed out. I suppose it's true that such a post did belong in the episodes on computer thread. I dunno.

Making a torrent of tons of Foster's episodes, and selflessly seeding them for over three weeks where i could do little else with my computer, so that other foster's fans can have the episodes (when the dvd's were not released) and then posting link to the torrent of Foster's episode downloads, in the EPISODES section (having not seen a download thread already exists) is spam?

Basically. This has come up before, but I don't expect people to read the entire thread so I'll address it again. Let's just say that IF Cartoon Network ever asked/demanded that I stop allowing people to post download links, I'd do it, I'd let y'all know not to do it anymore, and that would be that. But we've been up and running for years now and no one has said anything, so I just have to assume it's not an issue. *shrug* And let's stop talking about this until it comes up again in several months, lol.

I've been aware of this thread for a while, and I've wanted to download some of these episodes (seeing as I rarely get a chance to see Foster's properly on Sky), though I've always been a bit hesitant, because I know my laptop would groan under the amount of disk space these videos would take up, and because I thought I'd have had to mess around downloading the right software to play the vids. Now that I know they'll play on Media Player, I'll check some of these out, and get caught up on the episodes I haven't seen yet.

I did capture the alternate ending (and end credits) from cn.com today but GM was torrenting in the other room so the end result was very jittery. I'll try it again later, but it's very late and I'm heading to bed in a bit.
