I did a little more unpacking earlier. Nearly a year since I moved here and I'm still not done. :bloocross: Anyway, while unpacking I found the sketch of Frankie that Craig drew for me at the memorable 2008 Comic-Con, and I remembered that I never showed it to everyone. So without further ado, here she is, in all her cranky glory:

All excellent and lovely stuff for a very lovely lady. I hate the fact I keep end up not being on this board as much as I used to, but its always nice to come back and see such fine artwork for our lovely Frankie Foster.

I had planned to finish my Sims story and reunite Frankie and Miri for her birthday but alas, the Con and the city consumed a lot more time than I'd planned on. It'll get done, I'm just not sure when. Soon, I hope. :frankiesmile:

Frankie is a GREAT character. Unlike most female animated characters that have the big batty eylashes, frilly clothes, and cruly, bouncy hair,and a perky bussom, She has a very edgy look and style. Plus, She is not represented as the character that all the guys' are drooling over (with the exception of Mac and Coco's nerds)

Over-all, If I was the kind of person who had crushes on animated/fictonal characters, I'd be a Frankie-Fangirl! :-*

I don't draw so its more of a "collect all my favorite" Deviant art pieces around the site. I've seen some of these more mature Frankie arts but not as many, or I guess I haven't come across as many as you have. I know they are out there and believe me, I understand to a degree how you feel about Frankie being used in them but to be honest, this is really nothing new.

There are lots of toon and anime chars depicted very similarly so you shouldn't take it too personally.

Frankie's like my hero of the series. Her personality has a really natural flow to it. She can seem perfect when shes not. Which I think is because of the light her character brings. She intelligent but doesnt speak down to the other characters or is snobbish. She's genuine to put simply.

Yeah, image insertion doesn't work with dA. When I want to post an image here, I use Photobucket. ;)

I've loved frankie since the show started, 10 years ago - I was 9, I'm now 19. Just like the message of the show, I don't wanna grow out of that. Fosters was a huge part of my childhood and is still one of my fave shows! I'd love to see a frankie-related spinoff! :-*
