This one doesn't really have a title, mainly 'cos I couldn't think of one. This was just a doodle which I thought looked pretty good, so I ran it through photoshop and then well...

Here it is...

I like the water droplets...

Wow, your drawings are excellent, I like them all! The last one especially, although it's somewhat depressing.

Thank you very much! And yeah, don't be surprised when my artwork touches a more saddening side. It happens quite often, for one reason or another.

Imaginary Light 05-25-2008 01:40 PM

Oh, wow. That's fantastic. I like the water droplet effect. Poor Wilt. :(

I kind of like that it has a darker feel to it though. It's nice sometimes to see a vulnerable side to a character, you know?

Yet another amazing piece, Vampyre! I agree, the water droplets are a really cool effect. :D

He looks like he needs a hug.

Mighty fine work, Vampyre. You seem to be very good at capturing Wilt at his most melancholic. :D

Vampyre 05-26-2008 04:07 PM

Aww, thanks a ton, Jekylljuice :D

BluebottleFlyer 05-27-2008 02:03 AM

Oh man, that's a really expressive picture. I love the detail you've put into it, especially those water droplets, a clever effect there. You've got the gloomy mood of the picture spot on, and not just with Wilt's forlorn expression, but with the colours too.
Great work, Vampyre.:D

This piece is amazing! What really gets to me is the frown. Without it he's sad and rejected, but with that little curve at that exact line width and placement, you can practically see into a whole world of disappointment and self-loathing. Good luck on the story.

Oh, and the phrase you're trying to think of right now is "lover's quadrangle". :goo:
