Just a heads up for everyone, the HT website is having a %50 off already clearance items from today until the forth and there are quite a few Foster's products that qualify! Most of the t-shirts are going for $4-$6 and some designs are selling out fast!

I picked myself up a Billy and Mandy and two Foster's shirts =D

My older sister went to Hot topic and got me one of the Fosters T-shirts.:D
It was $20.00.:P

She said the Hot Topic website was having the sale, not the actual store itself.

And yes sometimes there is a difference, sometimes a website will run a deal (whereas the store that runs said website will not) in order increase traffic and sales, and yes sometimes the inverse is true too. Sometimes the store will run a sale while the website will not.

Walgreens does that quite a bit with their photo department. Every few days I get another email from them informing me of a discount photo offer that's only available online. Kind of irritating, really. As for Hot Topic, I may look at their site later but I doubt I'll buy anything.

Just went up this morning ... on the HT website, the all-over print men's shirt is on clearance now ... $9.98 for normal sizes, $10.98 for 2XL.

Would've been even nicer if it was on clearance a couple days ago (with the add'l 50% off), but can't really complain even at half-price. I bought extras myself ... the one I have already has been easily the shirt I've worn the most.

It's certainly a great t-shirt (I own one myself). Thanks for mentioning the discount.

Well, time to own some more, then! :bloogrin: One can never have too many extras, as a certain someone could vouch for back in '99 ...

Once they're gone, then eBay pretty much becomes the last chance ... and the idea of paying $30 (or more) then for a "slightly used" one can't really be as appealing as $10 for a new one today.

When I get my stimulus check (crosses fingers), I plan to stimulate the US economy a bit myself by spending it on some last minute Foster's stuff, particularly the throw with Mac on it. Maybe a few other things too. I kind of hope the throw will be on clearance price by then so I can save some, but even if not, I've wanted it so bad for so long, I'm getting it anyway. :)

I'm still sad to see so many Foster's stuff going on clearance, though. I want to start seeing things pop up in other stores before HT sells out of everything. :bloosad:

I went to HT today for the first time in months and was pleased to see they still had a number of Foster's stuff in stock, and out where the customers can see them (not hidden in the back corner like they did at Claire's). I was hoping to at least see one of the plushes, but there was none. The only blanket they have left is the new black one with only that yellow man on it...

I have a minuscule amount of money at the moment, so I spent a little while there. I got the hair band set, which included four bands featuring that little yellow man, so I gave them to my sister since she loves him. The Bloo and Eduardo ones I wore as bracelets for the day. :smed: I also got a cell phone charm, a pen, and their very last Deo shirt, which was on clearance for $9. :bloosmirk: So I left pretty happy, and with some extra money still in my bank account.

I then went to Claire's and got some lip balm and their last Bloo pin. :frankiesmile: Yeah, I don't think I can ever have too much Foster's stuff.

I went to HT today and didn't find anything good, but I did get some cute earrings of Bloo dancing at Claire's. So that's something at least. :terrsmile:

But mostly I posted to say I was walking through the mall and there were some teenaged girls walking behind me; one said "I want to go to HT." (yeah she said "HT") and another girl said "HT?" So the first girl sang "HooOT TOPIC!" to the tune of the jingle in the "Hot Pockets" commercials. I will never pronounce "Hot Topic" any other way from now on. 8D

Anyway, HT's been rather slow, and the website shows that they're really squeezing out merchandise of Yellow Man and Blue Man, mostly yellow man. I'm wondering if this has to do with CN possibly transitioning Foster's merch into other stores soon, so HT is trying to squeeze out as much Yellow Man merchandise as possible.

And as my sister's b-day is tomorrow, I decided I'd drop by HT after work today and get her something. While there, I dove in and bought some stuff for myself since most Foster's stuff is now on clearance, so if I didn't jump now, I knew I'd lose my chance forever.

I love this purse! It has a cell phone pouch inside, along with a zippered compartment, and the buttoned pocket on the outside. It snaps closed, and the sides even expand so I can stuff more "junk" into it. And "Yellow Man" is, well, yellow, so he really isn't noticeable unless you look closely, so I don't feel he's over done here. The only downside is that I wish it had a shoulder strap.

On clearance for $4! And they reach my knees! Just in time for the cooler season (I'm wearing them now). Yay!

I'm a little poorer I guess, but not too badly. I'm happy though.

I have those socks; I'll wear them when it gets cooler. And I want those mints. :terrsmile: They had that bag and matching wallet last time I was at HT on clearance, but I don't care for them so I didn't pick them up.

I got three Foster's things in the mail today. One was the Smack and Yak Blooregard I just posted about in the Mattel thread. One was the calendar, and the third was these.

Perhaps I'm spoiled, but I like to have a pair of gloves stowed in the pockets of each of my most commonly worn jackets. The coat I got while on vacation in Oregon last August has become one of my favorite jackets so I decided I need some gloves to stick in its pockets. So now I won't be caught off guard with cold hands whenever I wear that jacket. :)

Yeah I have those in my purse right now. :terrsmile: I got them to go with my Bloo hoodie; but the reason they are in my purse and not in the hoodie's front pouch-thing is I'm deathly afraid of them falling out. So I stuffed them in my purse. :bloobleh:

The one remaining Hot Topic in our area(same mall as the one remaining Disney Store)has discontinued all Foster's stuff, saying that "teens aren't into it anymore". I tried to find the 2009 calendar, with no luck at all.

I got the gloves on eBay, by the way, not in the store. Last time I was in HT at Christmas time, they had a few of those brown tanks still on the clearance rack, one Eduardo plush and one Cheese blanket. That was it. No more key chains, mints, cell phone charms, stickers or anything. :'(

Claire's is still carrying Foster's stuff, though. ;)

Sorry for being somewhat off topic, but I saw online today that Hot Topic has a unisex Dexter's Laboratory shirt right now. They called the show a "classic". So there's hope that they'll have Foster's stuff someday again. *fingers crossed* And it's nice to see one of Craig's works get some nice recognition. :up:

I don't know if Craig would be getting any commission if the shirts sell well, but there's also a cute PPG shirt they've had for a while. :blossom:
