Yes, I read about your dissertation earlier, many congrats on finally finishing it! I can imagine the feeling of relief and breath of fresh air at that being done. I hope you have a great weekend with the family and furry kids! So what kind of job are you going to look for now that that's taken care of?

Thanks for the photo comment, JJ! Yes, that was my furry child and my furry niece, to me they're just humans with fur and tails. I saw my furry niece this last weekend, I still love her to bits, even though she's three and almost as big as Joey is now. She's got the sweetest and most gentle temperament.

Yeh I read NL. Some of it made sense. As for Cronenberg, I liked Scanners and Videodrome but they're both more funny than really scary or brilliant.

Nothing at all. I see you seen Naked Lunch. Some good quotes but a bit of a mess really, I thought. I've always used the line "What are you cats doing here?" in appropriate situations ever since but no-one ever spots it and just looks at me funny.
