Oh them, yes they're cool (although recent anti-smoking PIFs have painted them in a rather unfortunate light). Believe it or not, I've only ever read one Stephen King book in my lifetime, and that's "Different Seasons". I was drawn to it because it contains the original novella upon which "The Shawshank Redemption" was based, and figured that I might as well read the other three while I was at it. I thought they were good, but neither of my housemates seem to like him much (based on his horror writings). Then again, they don't like Marmite, so their sense of judgement is perhaps a bit questionable.

Hey Koos! This was about a week ago now, but did you see my response to your request in the "What made your day?" thread? Here it is! Just making sure you saw it.

I was quite excited to see that bird, as I use to be (and probably still am) an avid bird watcher. This last weekend I saw a pair of Belted Kingfishers, which made me happy because although I've seen one before, it's been a while and I've never seen two in the same place.

No, there's really no way I'm going to get it finished before then. At this rate, I probably won't even get to go home and visit my parents as I'd been planning.

I didn't really have as much time as I'd have liked, so I didn't go to Muriel's part of the campus today. Maybe later this week. And you're lucky - kingfishers are so pretty. I saw some over in Norwich this one time.

Heya, I'm good thanks. Yes, and something amazing has happened! There was another Doris. Two female wigeons. I couldn't actually see Maurice around, I hope he's okay. Oh yes, and Elle is still with us. I saw her for the first time in months.

Nah, I haven't been down to the campus this weekend, so no quackers as yet, though I do need to go on Monday, so I'll probably see them then. Should probably make an effort to feed them at some point too. Hey, did you see that picture of Kip which ptps drew for me? It's awesome! I tell ya, that girl is quite the artist!

1 to 2 Hours usually. We feed hay, grain, bird feed, dog food, cat food, quite a bit of stuff.

Hello Koosie, good to hear from you again! Yeah, I'm making some progress with Pinter, even if it hasn't been entirely without its stresses. Good news is that my toothache has now gone away - I got to see a dentist in the end, and he gave me some antibiotics, which seem to have worked. How's it going for you?

Everything's doing fine over here. Gotta go feed the farm in while though.
