Well, we mostly got rain, wind and a storm warning. Not much else, really.

    Aww.

    Haha, thanks.

Oh, sirens just went off for a big storm warning. Hate to cut this conversation short, but, gotta go. Nice seeing ya, Koos!

Yes, dachshunds are available! There's one named Aster who we often bump into when we're going out for a walk...she's one of the more difficult ones to persuade to play nicely with your own dogs (usually she just tries to jump on them and knock them over). It takes a whopping 50,000 TPs before they become available for adoption in the Chihuahuha version though. Aside from objecting to me fiddling about with his floppy ears earlier this evening, Biscuit's doing fine.

If Kip Snip were a doggie, I think he'd be a very beautiful Afghan hound. Unfortunately, they're not one of the featured breeds either, otherwise I'd probably get one and name it after him.

Yes, that's right. Basically, if you take good enough care of your current dog, you earn trainer points and with these new breeds become available for adoption. You can have up to three active dogs at a time. I knew for a while that I wanted my second dog to be a Beagle and that I'd call him Biscuit, and I finally got enough points for one today. I'm sure that there'll be lots of sniffing, but so far they've mainly just been doing that doggie ballet together. I'm planning to get a shih tzu for my third dog, though I still have several thousand more TPs to earn before I unlock them, and I don't yet know what I'm going to call it. Too bad there aren't any papillons in the game, or I could have gotten one and called it Crackers. Or Cracker...seven characters appears to the maximum.
