Wow you've got some good duckage there. All we got round here is a family of canada geese on the canal and occassionally some mallards sit on the river. Now there is a kingfisher down there but that's a different proposition altogether. You can't make friends with them or anything. So no Shelduck action today then?

Hey JJ! I'm good. Glad you got your toothache sorted. Are you having a nice weekend? Any quackers? It's pleasant being able to relax for a little while.

Yeh exactly. Booze is karaoke fuel. Doing it on sheer nerve takes some guts unless it's your job or something.

Oh wow. You're very brave tackling the classics like that. I bet you wern't even under the influence or anything.

Yeh like Dixon of Dock Green. I suppose when you actually hear Nina Simone thundering out those words you couldn't describe them as nice or boring in any sense. It's like reading 'Non, je ne regrette rien' wouldn't give you an idea of what Edith Piaf was putting into that song. Anyway I'd like to hear your rendition of 'Feeling Good'. A youtube vid perhaps? That'll shut em up!

Certainly not! Have you heard 'Work Song'? It's awesome. Anyway you know how these young tykes like everything - 'to the Max!' I believe that's the sort of thing these young people say. In my day, we just had a peice of coal and we'd all have to play with that for entertainment and the internet was in black and white and cost ten 'bob a day.

Yes it was very good. I liked it a lot. Batman was ok too. I'll have to write some guff in the movie thread about them. Sorry about your tooth! Wisdom teeth are a terrible downer, especially when they come crashing through teeth you were quite happy with.

Wow! Where did you get the picture? Did you photograph the telly? Anyway that's Ian Paisley who recently stepped down as First Minister in the devolved government of Northern Ireland.

Have you had a nice weekend. It's so hot right now!
