Well I'm lucky because a lot of food can and does grow round here. However that's really only right now in the summer. Probably not enough to stave off much hunger but nice tasty stuff anyway. Do you brambles there? They're these horrible, spikey weed bush things that spread everywhere but make loads of lovely berries that are just ripening now.
